"Reading." He Teng chimed in, reaching over from the bedside table and tossing a book to He Zhilan, asking very seriously, "Why is your face so red? What were you thinking about?"
The book hit He Zhilan right in the forehead, completely covering her face.
He Zhilan was truly grinding her teeth in frustration, betting ten sweet potatoes that He Teng was definitely teasing her!
"Not reading." He Zhilan removed the book from her face, glaring fiercely at He Teng, and then, boldly breaking free from his embrace, she sat squarely on He Teng's waist, looking down at him with a queenly expression, "Let's do something else instead."
He Teng's eyes sparkled, his lips curved up, "As you wish."
