Dongye finished handling the documents and walked out of the study.
From a distance, he saw Zoey coming out of the room, her frail body needing the support of both hands on the porch.
"Miss Zoey!" Dongye walked over, "Is there something you need?"
"I found Zike missing, I'm scared, I want to find him." Zoey said, then asked, "Do you know where he went?"
"He... will be back soon. Let me help you back to your room, you're very weak and need more rest." Dongye supported her inside, his fingers unintentionally touched her wrist.
He felt her pulse.
Dongye's eyes suddenly hardened.
Zoey instinctively withdrew her hand and sat on the bed by herself.
"Thank you, I'm fine now." Zoey said, implying he could leave.
Dongye stared at her for a while, "You have severe internal injuries, and they act up every time it rains. Recently, the weather here has been moist and cold, so your old illness has relapsed."
