Her voice was so chilling that it made Mo Jun Tian shudder and step back from her.
His reaction made Heather laugh out loud, finding it quite amusing.
This was probably the first time she had laughed so happily since coming to Linyang; she had almost forgotten what laughing felt like.
Mo Jun Tian wasn't actually that unpleasant of a person.
Heather suddenly smiled, which startled Mo Jun Tian for a moment.
He thought he saw Xiao Man?
How could that be...
Xiao Man was already dead!
But that smile just now, it really was too similar...
He suddenly realized and said, "You scared me to death. I thought you were serious. I was thinking, sure you're a bit fierce, but how could you really kill someone."
"I wasn't lying to you, I told the truth," Heather said as she turned and walked away, not caring whether he believed her or not.
Mo Jun Tian also walked towards the open kitchen, took a bottle of red wine out of a transparent cabinet.
