At twelve noon, Ye Chenxi was busy reviewing documents in the company. It was Wednesday, and he hadn't expected Lil Fei to come over from school.
He wasn't very aware that it was Lil Fei; hearing the door open, he thought it was the secretary calling him for lunch.
Without lifting his head, he called out in a cool voice toward the office door, "Go on, I'll eat when I'm hungry."
There was no answer from the other person.
It was then that Ye Chenxi paused his work, looked up towards the door.
The girl stood at the door, holding a lunch box in her hand, wearing a bashful smile and said shyly, "If you're busy, should I wait here for you?"
Seeing it was Lil Fei, Ye Chenxi tossed aside his pen, leaned back lazily in the boss chair, with a hint of a smile playing on his thin lips, "Since you're here, come over!"
Lil Fei smiled and walked over.
Ye Chenxi also stood up and accompanied her to sit on the sofa in front of them.
