Chi Zaozao first dropped off Tang Xiaofei at the Tang Family's house. After seeing her enter, Chi Zaozao finally turned the car around and drove back to the halfway point up the hill.
On the way back, Ye Que remained silent, because they were still trying to keep their secret from even the child.
Chi Zaozao, however, broke the silence, "Hey, Little Monkey, can I discuss something with you?"
Little Monkey was playing a game in the back seat and had just cleared a level, putting him in a very good mood.
Without raising his head, he tossed a reply to Chi Zaozao, "Mommy, go ahead!"
"Promise Mommy first!"
"Tell me and then I'll decide."
"Alright!" Chi Zaozao compromised. While driving carefully, she asked, "Mommy has decided… to be with your Uncle Yan. What… do you think about it?"
Chi Zaozao assumed that the little guy wouldn't agree at first.
Still, she figured that with some pleading and coaxing, Little Monkey would probably come around.
