Marcus, Baby 5 and Uta stood a good distance away from the stairs leading up to Shakky's bar. Marcus could have moved even farther away from the bar, but since Gab and Limejuice were inside he decided against it. Especially since Uta insisted on coming along and Marcus didn't want them to be too far away in case Doflamingo decided to not be friendly.
As for Rayleigh and Shakky, they also stayed inside the bar since this had nothing to do with them. With Baby 5 happily clinging to one arm while Uta impatiently tapped her foot with her arms crossed over her chest, they waited quietly. Less than five minutes passed before Marcus felt someone enter his observation haki range as they approached their location quickly. Within moments a man swung into view from behind the massive trunk of one of the mangrove trees.
Baby 5 waved excitedly at the man as he dropped from the air and landed about twenty feet away from Marcus and his group. Even with his relaxed posture, Marcus was forced to look up to see his face as Doflamingo was about twice his current height. Marcus then glanced down at the man's black shoes that almost reminded him of air force ones before he slowly took in the rest of his outfit. While Marcus truly disliked the man, he was forced to admit that Doflamingo had style.
Doflamingo's ankles and hairy calves were exposed by the black colored capri pants he wore. While his very lean and muscular body was put on full display by his unbuttoned white shirt that highlighted his ripped six-pack abs and fair skin tone. Hung arrogantly from his shoulders was a massive pink feathered coat and his smile was twisted into something that was more sinister than happy. His blonde hair was cut short and almost resembled a pixie cut and while Marcus couldn't see his eyes that were hidden behind his curved, thin white sunglasses with red lens. Marcus's skin crawled slightly as he felt the man's piercing gaze as they studied each other.
Baby 5 smiled wide as she gestured towards Marcus and said, "Young master, this is my fiance Marcus! Marcus, this is the young master, Donquixote Doflamingo."
"I told you not to talk with other people, they'll only take advantage of you." Doflamingo said in a disappointed tone.
"I know, but I heard him playing a song and it was amazing… And it was made about me!" Baby 5 said as she nuzzled closer to Marcus in happiness.
Marcus calmly watched Doflamingo for a moment and before he could speak up about the original misunderstanding, Uta pointed at Baby 5 as she said, "You're here for that little home wrecker, right? Take her and leave, we don't want her here anymore."
Doflamingo's head turned the tiniest bit towards Uta as his right hand started to twitch before he asked, "Do you even know who I am, little girl?"
"Just a two bit warlord who likes to play at being a king."
Marcus felt a spike of killing intent from Doflamingo and gripped his sword tighter as Doflamingo burst into maniacal laughter for a moment. Baby 5 frowned as she said, "The young master doesn't play at being a king, he's a real king. He saved a kingdom and now he's their new ruler."
Marcus let out a sigh before he mumbled to himself, "Women really are too much trouble, I don't wanna deal with this right now…"
As Doflamingo refocused on Uta he asked, "You're pretty brave to insult me… Or maybe it's just stupidity?"
"I'm not afraid of someone like you." Uta said confidently as she upturned her nose at the man.
Sparks flew a moment later as Marcus stood in front of Uta with his sword raised. A string from Doflamingo's finger tip struggled against Marcus's sword that prevented it from stabbing into Uta's body. The color drained from Uta's face at the unexpected attack and Marcus frowned slightly as he said, "While Uta's words might be harsh, that doesn't give you the right to attack her."
"Young master, please calm down." Baby 5 said as her eyes worriedly focused on Marcus.
"Are you telling me what to do, Baby 5?" Doflamingo asked as the string disappeared back into his finger.
"I would never do that young master… I just didn't want you to accidentally harm Marcus."
Marcus was completely focused on Doflamingo when Uta finally recovered from her shock and spit out as she pointed at him, "You. You. You attacked me!"
"And? You're just an annoying little girl, I wanted to teach a lesson… But someone interesting got in the way."
Doflamingo's attention focused on Marcus as he asked, "To be able to block one of my casual attacks… How old are you?"
"Almost ten."
Doflamingo chuckled but it sounded more ominous than anything before he said, "Interesting…"
More sparks flew as Marcus blocked a few more strings, but this time they were aimed at him instead of Uta. A few more strings tested Marcus who started to sweat as his observation haki was pushed to the limit. As that carried on, the sinister smile on Doflamingo's face twisted into something like a child who was excited to play with a new toy.
Baby 5 moved closer to Marcus but stayed behind him as she worriedly said, "Young master, please don't attack my fiance!"
Uta flared with anger at the same time as she asked, "What do you think you're doing?!?"
"You know I don't like being told what to do… Do I need to punish you again?" Doflamingo asked as a string streaked out to slice Baby 5.
Marcus intercepted the attack but was forced to extend a little too far to block it and ended up being stabbed. It was a minor wound to the chest but he grunted in pain which caused both girls to cry out, "Marcus!"
Doflamingo didn't stop his attacks and added more pressure after the first attack landed which caused Marcus to be pushed back slightly. As the assault continued Uta angrily said, "You better stop or I'll tell my dad to beat you up!"
A gun shot rang out a moment later and a deformed bullet dropped from Doflamingo's chest as his relentless attacks paused. He completely ignored Uta as his gaze focused on Baby 5 whose whole hand was now a smoking gun before he asked in a dangerous tone, "And just what exactly do you think you're doing?"
Baby 5's voice trembled slightly as she said, "You attacked Marcus and hurt him… I… I asked you not to attack him."
"Just who exactly do you think you're talking to Baby 5?"
"I'm sorry young master… I'll be good, but please don't hurt my fiance anymore." Baby 5 said in a sad tone with her head hung in shame.
"This is why you were forbidden from talking to other people… They easily take advantage of you and you're to stupid to realize it."
"The only one who's stupid here is you. Instead of trying to help Baby 5 overcome her problems, you kept her sheltered and just exacerbated the issue." Marcus sneered before he was forced to block a new wave of attacks.
Fuffuffuffuffu
"You're just as stupid as that little girl behind you… I'm gonna have a lot of fun playing with both of you." Doflamingo said as more strings shot out with some of them streaking towards Uta.
Marcus's sword became a blur as he parried all of the attacks as he said, "The fact you haven't even stopped to consider who we might be just proves you're the only stupid one here."
Doflamingo's smile faltered for only a fraction of a second as his attacks paused and he said, "Fine, if you think you're so important tell me who you are."
"Monkey D. Marcus… I'm sure you know who my grandpa is."
Doflamingo frowned the tiniest bit before he said, "I'm a warlord, he can't do anything to me."
"Maybe, but I happen to be his favorite grandson… If something happens to me, I'm sure he would gladly take revenge."
Another string shot out which Marcus blocked as Doflamingo chuckled and said, "He's the hero of the marines, he knows better than anyone he can't recklessly attack me… As long as I don't kill you, he'll have no reason to seek revenge."
A new wave of attacks assaulted Marcus as Baby 5 cried out in a shaking voice, "Young master stop! I don't want you to hurt Marcus!"
Multiple strings shot out towards Baby 5 that forced Marcus to over extend as he parried them and caused him to take another wound. As Marcus grunted and blood dripped out of the new wound on his stomach Uta yelled out, "I'm Shanks's daughter! If you attack my husband one more time I'll tell him to kill you!"
"Shanks?… Husband?"
Doflamingo finally paused as a frown flashed across his face before he asked, "Red haired Shanks, the one that always spars with Mihawk?"
"Yeah, so stop or I'll have him kill you!"
Doflamingo broke into another fit of maniacal laughter and his aura changed dramatically as Marcus said in an urgent tone, "Uta, take Baby 5 and go back to the bar."
"No, I-" Uta was cut off as another wave of attacks shot out and Doflamingo said in a menacing tone, "You think I care about Shanks?!? If it was Kaido, Big Mom or Whitebeard I'd stop… But Shanks isn't one of the emperors!"
Baby 5 started to shoot at Doflamingo as she said in a worried tone, "I'm sorry young master, but I won't let you harm my fiance!"
Marcus was pushing himself to the absolute limit of his observation haki as he blocked every single one of Doflamingo's attacks at him, Uta and Baby 5 before another slipped through and sliced a thin line across his arm. Marcus wanted to use armament haki to block the attacks that made it through, but unfortunately they were too fast and he wasn't skilled enough and he didn't want to waste it trying to cover large parts of his body because it would drain his stamina quickly.
As Uta and Baby 5 cried out his name again, Marcus unleashed his conqueror's haki towards Doflamingo and caused him to pause his attacks again. In that brief moment Marcus said to both girls in an anxious tone, "Both of you go back to the bar, it's making it harder to fight while I protect you two!"
Doflamingo flared his own conqueror's haki as his head tilted back and he laughed wildly. Both girls faltered under the pressure and even Marcus felt slightly weak as Doflamingo's conqueror's haki practically crushed his own. A new round of attacks commenced as Doflamingo continued to laugh and Marcus was pushed back slightly from the onslaught.
Marcus gritted his teeth as he growled, "Both of you leave, now!"
"No, I can help!" Uta said in a strained tone as Baby 5 shot at Doflamingo again under the pressure of his conqueror's haki.
With the clash of both their conqueror's haki along with the gunshots, everyone in the bar stepped out to watch the show. Rayleigh watched quietly while Shakky leaned against his arm, while Gab and Limejuice each had a bottle in their hands that they drank from. As Marcus took another minor wound to his leg this time protecting Uta again, Marcus let out a frustrated grunt.
Doflamingo's laughter continued before he finally said as the pressure from his conqueror's haki increased, "Even if they weren't here, you still wouldn't be a match for me."
"Stop targeting them and prove it."

Doflamingo's laughter filled the air for a moment before he said in a menacing tone, "The strong don't have to listen to the weak!"
A new barrage of attacks flew towards Marcus and the others and he ended up taking more minor wounds as he blocked attacks aimed at the girls who cried out in a panic. Marcus gritted his teeth through the pain before he said, "Baby 5! I need you to take Uta to the bar!"
Even though concern marred Baby 5's face, her eyes lit up as she said, "You need me to help!?! Don't worry, I'll handle it!"
Even though both girls struggled under the pressure from Doflamingo's conqueror's haki. Baby 5 grabbed Uta's arm and tried to pull her away as Uta said, "No, I can still help!"
"Marcus needs us to leave so he can fight properly, come along!" Baby 5 said as she grabbed the smaller girl and started to drag her away.
"No, I can still help!" Uta cried out as Marcus blocked their retreat and took another wound to the chest in the process.
Doflamingo sinisterly laughed as he attacked Marcus and watched Baby 5 pull the struggling Uta away. He focused a new round of attacks on Marcus as he said, "I'll deal with those two after I'm done with you…"
With the two girls out of the way, Marcus was finally given more options and dodged the incoming attacks completely with soru. As Marcus dodged another wave of attacks, he sheathed his sword and prepared to counter attack. Marcus used his observation haki and soru to dodge another round of attacks before he landed to the left side of Doflamingo. As Doflamingo's strings twisted to follow him, Marcus was able to land and lower his stance as he tensed his muscles. A second later the ground exploded accompanied by a clap of thunder around Marcus as he flashed towards Doflamingo like a streak of white light.
