Jasmine is the first daughter of the great Alpha Bale.
Because of her status as a bastard child, she lives a life maltreated scrubbing floors and attending to the needs of her father, step mother, step siblings and the entire pack.

With that, he tosses the bloodied arm aside and takes Jasmine away from their shocked gaze.

I looked around the cell that I had been locked in and hurdled my feet closer to myself. 


 I could also hear some mice running around. 


I had never lived in a dungeon back home in our pack, but the living experience was hardly different from what it was like here. 


The woman who had taken hold of my arm had dragged me right into the dungeon and pushed me in. 


I had seen the hate in her eyes, the hate that everyone else had back in the moonlight pack.


"Princess." She had said: "You would wish you were dead once I'm through with you."


I remembered what she  said my father had done to her.


I could still see the pain in her eyes, and for that, it made me want to tell her how much I was sorry. 


But saying sorry did nothing. It was not even the least bit enough. 


I had learned that when I told Luna Maria, I was sorry for the loss of her son.
