Using my speed advantage, I tried to land a knee attack on her chest.
Tohru, sensing the attack coming, transformed her hands into her draconic form and crossed her arms.

She blocked my attack, but the power of the attack pushed her back quite a distance.
"She is still able to see me at this speed?" he asked himself, a bit surprised.
Rihito was travelling at approximately 19,180 mph, which is around Mark 25, on par with the speed of modern spacecraft. Even at this speed, Tohru was still able to sense his movement. As he recalled, she wasn't this sharp back when they first fought.
I suppose being forcefully mind-controlled affected her more than he realised.
[That's the dragon species for you.] I looked at her with admiration.

Rihito disappeared from Tohru's sight.
Appearing right above her, swinging his fist. "Let's see you block this."
"Wah!"
Tohru sensed danger from above and tried to block the incoming attack.
"Too slow"
With a dull thud, Rihito's fist landed.
But this time, unlike the last, she was unable to block the attack and was thrown into the sea.
Splash!
I stood in the air, staring at the sea where I had knocked down Tohru. I clenched my fist and then unclenched it, trying to soothe my aching hand; punching her had made my fist numb.

Just as I expected, with a burst of speed, Tohru flew out of the sea, flames clinging to her.
Tohru, with a slightly bruised face, looked at me with a belligerent smile.
That smile sent shivers down my spine.

Tohru took a hunched-over stance, her green claws out, her bloodlust flooding the area.
"Get ready, Rihito."
Hearing those words from her, I was a bit surprised. This might be the first time Tohru had called me by my name.
Just as she declared, her body was covered in a yellowish-orange magical aura.

"When did she learn to do that?" I exclaimed, making distance.
Tohru dashed, breaking multiple sound barriers.
"She is fast." In her current state, there was a chance she would catch on to me.
Rihito, not wanting to face her head-on, teleported out of the way, keeping his distance.
Rihito raised his hand as various elements—fire, water, lightning, and wind—surrounded him and were unleashed toward her.
Tohru took the attacks head-on, blitzing through them like they were nothing.
"Tsk,"
Seeing that the attacks are not working, he increases the intensity more and more.
Even then, she easily tore through them, taking negligible damage, which regenerated the next moment.
Tohru again got closer, but to her annoyance, Rihito again teleported away and started to bombard her with spells of different elements.
"Grraa… Stop running and fight me," Tohru growled.
"Come on now, you and I both know that if I do that, you will easily overpower me," I responded from a distance.
Tohru, with an annoyed glare, began charging a breath attack comparable to the one they had when they first fought.

Rihito's eyes narrowed.
Rihito looked at Tohru suspiciously. [She is definitely planning something.] In her current state, she can deliver more effective attacks with similar power, yet she doesn't. There's no way she doesn't understand that.
"So what is she planning?" I murmured to myself.
Finishing charging her attack, she fired the enormous breath.
Just as in the previous times, Rihito teleported again and reappeared on the other side.

Before I could finish my word, an enormous pressure bore down on me, trying to make me lock in one place.

I sensed a spatial gate opening behind me.
This time, instead of running away, I decided to attack first and aimed for her stomach.
"Huh?"
From the spatial portal, I expected Tohru to fly out, but instead, a familiar-looking maid uniform emerged, causing me to pause for a quarter of a second, which would cost me.
"A decoy?" The moment Rihito thought that, another portal appeared behind him.
The moment another portal appeared, my instincts sent a danger alarm. Right that instant from the portal, scorching dragon breath appeared.
"Oh, ohh…"
Rihito quickly formed multiple barriers as he was pushed back; the force of the breath shattered several of them, but he emerged unharmed by recreating the barriers.
"That was kind of dangerous."
Suddenly, I felt someone grab my right leg.
I looked below and saw a slightly tattered Tohru.
"I caught you now," she said with a wicked smile.
"Oh shit."
Finally catching Rihito, Tohru starts swinging him around like a rag doll.
"You won't get away from me." She swung her other fist, aimed at his torso.
Rihito struggled to block her attacks due to his awkward leg position.
Crack
Her flaming fist easily breaks through each of Rihito's barriers as he repairs them.
In between her attacks, he tried to land a few kicks, but again, due to his awkward positioning, he failed.
To get away from his current predicament, he used an omnidirectional

"You almost ripped my ankle off," he complained, rubbing his ankle.
"Yeah, like that much could ever hurt you." Tohru retorted.
Rihito looked at Tohru and sighed.
"I suppose I have warmed up enough. I'll step up my game," he said, stretching his body.
Rihito's mood shifted; his troubled expression shifted to a serious one.
He then pulled out the gauntlet and took a stance; his stance resembled a certain taijutsu user from a certain ninja village.
With a burst of speed, Rihito closed the distance and threw multiple fast left jabs, pushing her back.
Tohru blocked each of the attacks and then started throwing her own, which were easily dodged.
Rihito used
Tohru swings her flaming fist and attempts to land her attack, but each time Rihito blocks her with an attack equal to hers, or if he can't, he offsets the attacks elsewhere.
"Graa," Tohru exclaimed as she reached out to grab him, but once again, he managed to slip away.
Seeing him keep slipping away, she decides to trap him.
Tohru put both of her hands together and created a fire orb, and expanded its size.
Rihito immediately made some distance and prepared to attack or counter depending on the situation.
Tohru conjured a fire orb and held it above her head; the heat radiating from the orb increased the temperature of the surrounding area, causing the seawater to start boiling.
The fire orb then suddenly split into multiple smaller, identical-looking orbs, about 30 of them.
"Now dodge thisss!" Tohru hurled all of it at me.
I immediately start moving, weaving through the scorching orbs.

While Rihito was weaving through the fire orbs, Tohru took that chance and created a barrier covering the area.
"A barrier?"
He noticed the barrier but didn't focus on it; instead, he was busy dodging. Then, he decided to get closer and attack, trying to use teleportation, but it didn't work.
[Wait, this barrier is?]
Upon closer inspection. The barrier is enchanted with Spatial Magic, locking the space inside.

"Things are going to be more troublesome."
In a fluid move, he removed the gauntlets as he kept dodging and threw them into the
Tohru, noticing his slight distraction, seized the opportunity to surround him with fire orbs, effectively blocking all his escape routes. Then, with a single gesture from Tohru, all the orbs converged on him.
From his Item Box, a sword with a white hilt and red engravings emerged. He finally decided to take out Muramasa. The moment his hand gripped the hilt of the blade, it blurred, and with a single swing, he cut down all of the orbs, dispersing them.
"It's been a while, partner." I gently caressed Muramasa.
"You finally took it out. I've been waiting for this." Tohru smiled as her body transformed back to a large green western dragon, her true form.
"Gurrurruurraaa…" Her roar shook the area.
Both of them looked at each other and readied their stance.
Rihito, pointing Muramasa ahead, took a low stance.
"Elemental Swords," he called out as multiple swords of different elements surrounded him.
"Let's finish this."
With those words from Rihito, the swords beside him were launched.
Tohru, seeing the sword, fired an intense breath attack akin to a laser.
The breath and elemental swords clashed at the center.

As our spells clashed, we too faced off, her claws against my Muramasa.

We fought for hours as I noticed the sun was going down.
Tohru's attacks were fierce, almost overwhelming me, but he sensed she was holding back enough not to go too far. The same was true for me; I also held back, and thus the fight dragged on.
While the fight just kept dragging on.
Beneath the depths of the sea, somewhere near the entrance of the labyrinth.
