Lee Joo Hyuk and his sister Lee Ga-Eul were having breakfast without their father or mother. While he was eating he was also busy scrolling through Kim Do-Hee's WeChat profile and watching her videos, his sister noticed he was lost and quietly pepped without his notice.
"Ohhhhhhh….i caught you" She said and he put off his phone immediately.
"Aishhhh…..when did you get close to me? He asked in shock seeing his sister beside him,
"I noticed you were so focused on your phone then I decided to come take a peep, tell me who is that beauty, your girlfriend? Huh? She interrogated. Joo Hyuk smirked and replied
"Do you think I have a girlfriend and I haven't told you? Of course not" he retorted.
"Then who is she? This is my first time seeing you so engrossed stalking a girl's page, and yes I saw the name "Kim" The Kim household is one of the top influential families in Seoul and you know that, and from what you told me, "Min Jae" is related to them, kind of cousin, right? She asked,
"You remember every detail you witch" he teased her
"Tell me who she is or I will tell Gu-won you like someone" she said.
"yahhhhh…..don't even say nonsense" he said and gritted his teeth provoked
"Tell me who she is to you and I won't say a word…..She was about to complete her statement but he interrupted.
"Fine, Fine, "to be honest, he sighed before going on with his speech, I do not know her, I have met her only once on a cool night, she was about to trip but I saved her and I recognized her face, ever since then I just can't get her off my mind though and I came across her instagram page and found out she is a model based overseas though I guess she is back to Korea, I don't know how to get hold of her again because her contact is hidden from all her pages and also I do not wanna be the chaser, you know how much I desire my pride and therefore I won't message her on instagram or WeChat" he spilled
Ga-eul tapped her fingers on the dining table "Then how do you intend to see her again or get a sight of her again if you don't wanna text her?
"Thinking of asking Min-Jae, she is her cousin, I found out a few days ago" he replied.
"Really, how did you find out?
"Her bio is written on her Instagram, she is the heiress to Kim corporations and investments, and Min Jae's mother is a sister to the owner and founder of the Kim corporation "
"Interesting, you are stuck between two sisters this time around" she burst out laughing
"I am not stuck between anyone, Min Jae is my close friend and you know I care about her a whole lot and I just met her cousin sister few days back, I don't even know her, or talked with her, I just admired her then boom found her page and since then been there watching her affluent beautiful pictures and videos, modeling shots and a whole lot of interesting vlog about her, I see her as someone who is quite cool and humble" he said lost in his imagination trying to capture her angelic face once again
"You know what? Just answer my question, do you like her?
"I don't, I just admire her" he said
"Just admiring and you have been scrolling her pages continuously?
"It is admiration, nothing more, I don't know if to ask Min Jae about her or keep mute"
"I will advice you do not say a word to Min Jae, yes she is her cousin but trust me, Min Jae isi'nt her and she is not Min Jae either so drop asking whatsoever you wanna ask, let the admiration, feelings or any shit be with you and you only, of course you know how rumors spread quickly "Ga-Eul advised him.
"You are right, such a smart but devilish twin sister" he said and they both roared at each other, the maids standing there while they were eating couldn't do anything at such sight than to burst out in laughter. Seconds later, they stood up to leave for school, as they got to the front compound, two cars were already waiting with each driver standing at the back ready to open the doors for them. Their father, was climbing the stairs about to go inside, when he saw his children and halted.
"Ready for school I can see" he let out
"Yeah dad, see you later" Ga-eul replied him but Joo Hyuk ignored him.
"Hey Joo Hyuk, don't you have the courtesy to greet your father in the morning?!!! he scolded
Joo Hyuk smirked "A father who doesn't prioritize family relationships is no father" he said sternly
"Yaaaaaa!!!!Mr Lee shouted, you should learn manners, you just talk like that mother of yours" he shouted
"You would always blame mother, I do not blame you but mother for getting married to a man like you" He said and entered the car while the driver drove off, the same with Ga-eul. Mr Lee stood there furious as he folded his fist in anger pondering how he gave birth to a son like Joo Hyuk.
However, the students can be seen loitering and heading to their various classes. Park Min-Jae and Jae Mi were cat-walking and discussing as they were going to class. Both girls were looking attractive as usual and whenever they passed, boys always made sure they disfigured their heads just to stare at the sight of their beauty, especially that of Min-Jae's. A boy who looked quite good but not actually cute approached them holding a gift bag.
"Hello Min-Jae" he said
"What do you want? She replied
"I wanna give you a gift I got for you, I know it is none of your special days but I only got it to appreciate your beauty and officially ask you out on a date this weekend" he let out
"You must be out of your senses(she
fling her hair backwards and folds her arms.)who told you or rather what foolish imagination made you think I will accept gifts from you or go on a date with you moron, (pushed him back) you are invisible to me so please I plead, next time do not repeat such rubbish, nonsense. (She hissed and her friend followed suit, those who witnessed the scene started laughing and mocking the boy who brought her gifts. They got to class and settled down, they crossed their legs, applied their lip gloss as they always do, and went on watching videos and laughing. Meanwhile, Do-Hee and Na-Na were at their seats reading together a fictional romance novel.
"Did you hear that Joo Hyuk finally accepted to partner with that fool" Jae mi told her best friend
"And who cares" Min Jae replied
"You don't wanna do anything about it Min-Jae? honestly this is not you my dear best friend, I think I have lost you to someone else and got a fake version of you" she said and Min Jae chuckled. "Chilax babes, it is still me Park Min-Jae, the queen, the all-rounder, everyone's choice, therefore you don't have to bother because I have everything under control, he can go ahead and partner with her I have no problem with that"
"Are you certain of what you just said? Jae Mi asked
"Absolutely" and Min-Jae replied. Not quite long, a male teacher stepped in and they got themselves in order ready to learn, study, and understand.
During leisure time, others were in the cafeteria enjoying their lunch but Do-Hee and Joo Hyuk had an appointment in the school library for their assignment and presentation. Do-Hee was sitting and looking at her wristwatch as she waited patiently for her partner. One hour later, he arrived and sat on a chair opposite her, "Let's get started" he said
"Don't you have manners to at least apologize for coming late and leaving me waiting like a moron" she said angrily
"That is because you are a moron, listen, I do not have time for all this nonsense, I am only keeping the end of my bargain and that is accepting to do this assignment with you so you can get your ass out of this school. Now, let's get started"
Do-Hee ignored him and opened her books and a big textbook on the table, while he was busy pressing his phone like no one was there with him, he acted like she was invisible but Do-Hee overlooked him. "Our topic is "The advantages and disadvantages of love and having feelings as humans" Do-Hee spilled. Immediately, he heard the topic, he smirked and went on pressing his phone.
"She said we have to outline what we understand by love and secondly how love can be essential in human lives and how it can create chaos in human minds, we will have to print it, and present it on that very day, (she shifted a printed file to him.) this is for you, your own part of the topic, you will research this and will speak on it, I have mine to work on and I beg you to please take it serious (she shifted her eye-glasses upwards making sure he won't recognize her inner gaze at all)
"Let's change the topic, we can beg her to change it because I can't research or speak on such a topic" he said proudly
"Why can't you?
"Cause love does not exist, love is just a waste of time and nothing is exciting about talking about it"
"That is a lie, love is sweet and everyone deserves to be loved and to love, are you a killer joy or what? She asked
"You can say whatever you wanna say but I will
Not work on that topic, it is a waste of energy" he replied
"Aishhhhh….(she folded her arms into a fist)you are very annoying like I feel like punching you right now" she said out in anger.
Joo Hyuk stood up and walked to her position, and she stood up ready to face him
"You are a nobody and you have no right to talk to me that way" he said calmly with his sweet and seductive voice
"You are also a nobody to me, this assignment topic was assigned by our teacher not me, I do not have any superpower to go tell her to change it, maybe you can do that besides your dad is the owner of this school, it will be quite an easy-peasy task for you to carry out" She said
"I won't talk much on this anymore, like I said go meet her and change it yourself, I will not research or speak on that topic because love is a scam" he said
Do-Hee moves closer to his face furiously "And I say that love is not a scam, everyone deserves love at their own time, I do not know why you detest love, everyone should be a fan of love but you are different, you are indeed a jerk" she said
"Love ruins" he spilled
"Love heals" she said
"Love is nothing but a disaster that will soon end in tears anyway," he argued
"Love is the best feeling that should have no room for regret" she argued back as she opposed his motion and then he tried dragging her arms but accidentally pulled her and they both fell on the ground, she fell on top of him and he held her waist swiftly and tightly. The fall was a surprising one for them as they found themselves on each other, thank goodness no one was in the library except them, they looked at each other intensely and immensely as both heartbeats pounded like a mortar grinding a seed. Seconds later, they got themselves and she sprang up immediately and adjusted her skirt, "Make sure you research your topic, we will meet tomorrow to discuss the progress we must have made in our research" she said shyly and packed her books, took her bags, and walked away as fast as she could. While he left too with his two hands inside his pockets, "Why is my heart beating so fast" he said in his mind as he walked out of the library.
