Chapter 5200 - Chapter 4243: Milky Way Roaming Guide (13)

Shiller accepted the coffee from the waiter and placed one cup in front of Pamela. Pamela seemed to be in a good mood, smiling and nodding at him. It might also be because she knew Greed was good at making money, and she was always short of cash.

"Why did you call me this time?" Pamela asked.

"We're developing in the Milky Way, and now we want to sell some Earth specialties on alien planets. After searching around, we found that Earth's vegetables and fruits are the rarest. So now there are two options: either cultivate them on alien planets or find a way to transport what's grown on Earth over there."

"By coming to me and not Victor, you're implying you're more inclined towards the first option, right?"

"Exactly, to be honest with you, Earth's spacecrafts are not enough, and the portal's traffic is likely not sufficient either. So it's best to skip the transportation process. Do you have any ideas?"

"Plants can grow anywhere; the difference is just the form they exist in. Even in the most barren and desolate places, there are seeds of life hidden. Besides, you all can do interstellar colonization already, so setting up a greenhouse on an alien planet shouldn't be difficult, right?"

"Yes, it's not hard to make the plants grow, but we want the fruit they bear to retain Earth's original taste, especially tasty tropical fruits, preferably as delicious and juicy as those on Earth. That's the only way to satisfy the picky tastes of those bureaucrats."

Pamela pondered for a while before saying, "That indeed poses some challenges. After all, greenhouses are quite difficult to simulate tropical environments. And because the natural environment is already enough to meet human needs, very few people are researching this area. I haven't tried it; specifics might require going to the site to have a look."

"Alright, I'll be honest. It's not necessary to be exactly the same as Earth, but it must be tasty enough. This could potentially become the busiest place in the entire cosmos in the future, with wealthy people and travelers from across the cosmos coming to visit. They've tasted the cosmos' cuisine and must have some specialties to elevate their evaluation of Earth's food culture."

"You've really given me quite a task," Pamela said, feeling a bit headachey as she held her forehead, "Brainiac keeps asking me to research expanding plants, and you want me to cultivate tropical fruits on alien planets. Especially when you guys don't have All Things Green, I can't use my abilities, so I'll have to start from the genetic level."

"I'll give you a price you're satisfied with," Shiller said with both hands on the table, "As long as there's a result, I can pay based on time. Now, should we go to Centaurus and have a look?"

"Alright," Pamela nodded and said, "But don't hold too high expectations, just in case it doesn't work out, don't let it delay your big plans."

"Just do your best, ma'am."

Pamela set off for Centaurus, but Shiller didn't leave with her. He had things to do on Earth, which was to check on the explorers of the Milky Way.

Back in the office, he opened the chat group and found there were already thousands of messages. He was really too lazy to flip through them one by one, so he just sent a line: "Are you all alright?"

The group exploded again, messages flooding the screen rapidly. Shiller glanced over and knew that it couldn't be said to be peaceful, but you could say it started with a bang.

"I don't know, it seems like I took the wrong route. There's a black hole here that the navigation didn't mention. I've started the ship's autopilot to see if it can get out."

"I broke the ship's control stick. I swear I didn't do it on purpose; I didn't expect it to be so flimsy, and I wasn't even using a fraction of my strength. Luckily, I had a broom that I tied to the handle, and it ran smoothly."

"We've flown out several light years and only realized we didn't bring spacesuits. The life-sustaining collars will have to do, but I still feel a bit cold. Given the distance, it'll have to suffice."

"We found an astonishingly beautiful star system and sent you a picture. Though it's not our target destination, we plan to stay here for a while."

"We landed on a planet, but this damned planet is full of bugs. A creature that looks like a giant crab shattered our spaceship's glass, and we're looking for materials to fix it."

"You're lucky; we didn't adjust the angle properly during landing and plunged straight into a swamp. We're preparing to drag the spaceship out."

"We found a dog with two heads on a planet. Can I really not take one back?"

"Oh, damn, someone got bitten! Does anyone know where the medical kit is on the ship?"

With a "pop," Shiller shut off his phone. He should've known to use Stark's drone plan, sending these people out was simply causing havoc in the Milky Way.

But there are silver linings too. No matter who wants to cause some trouble in the Milky Way, they probably won't succeed.

Approaching the center of the Milky Way in Scorpio, surrounded by many stars, a small spaceship gradually stopped. A tall Arkham Knight stepped out from the slightly cramped inner cabin and said, "We've received their signal. They're near Antares. Let's go."

Sitting in the pilot's seat, Polaris complained slightly, "I don't understand how they managed to land in a swamp. Also, when forming a team, they didn't choose Spider-Man; even having one Spider-Man around would have pulled the spaceship out."

Miles behind her was munching on a wafer cookie, crunching while chewing as he said, "Are they from the neighboring world?"

"Yes, Dick sent me the message," Arkham Knight also walked over and sat down, saying, "That planet's located between the gravitational fields of two stars, and its orbit is very strange. The auto-landing system wasn't working well, so they landed manually, but their skills weren't up to par, and they plunged straight in. Thankfully the ship's quality was good, it didn't disintegrate mid-air, and luckily it landed in the swamp, or they'd have been smashed into mincemeat."

In the midst of speaking, they had already flown to the site of the accident. Polaris sensed and said, "What a damn place. Why did they insist on this planet? Its magnetic field is as chaotic as my hair on Saturday morning."

Miles sneaked a glance at Polaris's hair. Polaris's hair wasn't too good because of the long-term perm and dyeing, a bit frizzy. One could entirely imagine its state after she slept until noon.

```
Although they said this, they still went over. Arkham Knight said in the channel, "We've arrived. You need to activate the signal transmitting device on the spaceship, so that we can..."
"No need, I've already found it," Polaris said, "I'm flying towards that direction, about to enter the atmosphere."
"Alright, then wait for us for a moment, we'll be there soon. Dick... Dick???"
"Wait," Polaris suddenly spoke up, "There seems to be something else on this planet."
Sitting in the co-pilot seat, Peter stared at the radar map and said, "Abnormal electronic signal, looks like some kind of electronic device."
"Could it be that the spaceship's communication device is broken?" Arkham Knight leaned over for a look and said, "Dick and the others are not responding either, might be signal interference."
"Currently not very clear," Peter continued to stare at the radar map and said, "This spaceship is a commercial version, the scanning is not detailed enough, currently can only tell there's some issue with the signal, specifics might have to wait until after landing to inspect."
Arkham Knight looked at Polaris again. Polaris frowned slightly but didn't say much, just controlled the spaceship to lower.
Beep—beep—beep—
The spaceship suddenly started issuing a warning. Peter yanked the control lever and shouted, "Autopilot system suffering signal interference, switching to manual control mode..."
"Control the hell out of it!" Polaris roared, full magnetic field firepower unleashed, the spaceship directly disengaged landing mode, shooting like a bullet towards the source of the signal interference.
In a swoosh, the spaceship arrived over a swamp. Clouds dispersed, Miles pressed against the spaceship glass looking down, saw several small figures, but they were obviously not humans.
"Enemies!!"
Zzz—!!!
A dazzling electromagnetic beam shot directly at the cockpit. Polaris cursed, electromagnetic shield flashed suddenly. Arkham Knight pulled out his waist gun, while Peter had already climbed out through the overhead hatch.
Swish swish swish, three strands of spider silk shot out, he grabbed the end of the spider silk and tugged hard. Polaris prompted to start the spaceship, and the figures below were directly yanked up into the air.
The spaceship's speed abruptly fast and slow, making them dizzy and disoriented. Miles also climbed out through the hatch, directly climbing along Peter's spider silk to the top of those people's heads. He shouted towards the spaceship, "Jason!"
Bam and a shot, the spider silk was broken. Miles performed a mid-air flip, kicked one of the figures, then another spinning kick knocked another person's gun away, lastly a downward chop, smashing the three into the ground together.
The spaceship slowly landed nearby, stirring up a cloud of dust. The other three walked out from the dust. Miles stood up, holding an arm that looked very similar to a human's arm, but the severed section didn't bleed, just flickered with electric light.
"Robot?" Arkham Knight walked over, looked at those guys who were obviously already blasted to scrap. These people looked very much like carbon-based creatures, if just looking at the appearance, you couldn't tell they were robots. However, the internal mechanical structure hadn't changed, all were burned charred at this point.
Miles smashed into the ground creating a big pit, three bionic robots lying in the pit. Polaris suddenly turned around, looked in a direction and said, "There's an abnormal electronic signal fluctuation over there."
They rushed towards that side and found a strange device on the ground. Polaris put his hand on it, showing a knowing expression, he said, "This is an EMP emitting device."
"EMP?"
"That's right, it continuously conducts electromagnetic interference on this planet, any electronic equipment entering this planet will be attacked. That's why our autopilot system suddenly failed. I guess the spaceship that plunged into the swamp earlier might have crashed because of this too."
At this point, everyone's expressions became somewhat grave. If the spaceship crash wasn't an accident, then people might also be in danger. Polaris held his breath and pointed to a direction: "That way."
But this time they didn't choose to run over or fly the spaceship over, instead Polaris directly opened a miniature wormhole, and everyone directly teleported to the destination. They saw three people sitting on rocks looking around.
"Hey, you guys are here!" Dick waved at them and said, "The signal's a bit bad here, we can hear but can't send messages, we were worried you couldn't find us."
Arkham Knight said somewhat surprised, "You weren't attacked?"
"Attacked? Attacked by who?" Dick said somewhat confused, "Isn't there nobody else on this planet?"
"You didn't encounter those robots?"
"Robots???"
