"Don't move," JARVIS suddenly said, "You're in a minefield now. It's best not to move, otherwise you could be blown away at any moment."
Main Universe Iron Man froze immediately. He finally realized that when he crossed the teleportation portal just now, he forgot to specify coordinates. But he couldn't help looking at the teleportation portal behind him and said: "How can there be a teleportation portal inside a minefield?"
"Because of demining later," JARVIS said, "They can't get in, and we need to get across. Our ships are also afraid of these mines. The teleportation portal was set up for easy demining."
"Is it okay if I just head back directly?"
"You can, but it's best to set your mecha to minimum output, avoid any large energy fluctuations, otherwise, you might still trigger a gravity trap. If you're caught, it's bad."
Main Universe Iron Man had no other choice, so he cautiously flew back little by little. Fortunately, the teleportation portal that brought him there was only a few dozen meters away, and there were no dangerous objects within hundreds of meters around it. Slowly moving back wasn't impossible.
Just then, he suddenly heard a noise around him. Turning his head, he saw a little black dot rapidly enlarging, and soon a slightly familiar figure appeared not far away. The newcomer was wearing a red and blue suit, clearly Superman.
"I knew someone was here." The other sighed, "You're not here to set traps, are you?"
"I'm just here to check the situation," Main Universe Iron Man said defiantly, "I was planning to leave, but since you're here, we could spar a little."
"I advise against it," JARVIS said, "Firstly, there's no way you can beat Superman, and if you two fight here, you're sure to get blown to bits. Better go back quickly."
Main Universe Iron Man felt a bit hesitant. He wasn't born a battle fanatic, knowing he couldn't win and yet still fighting, not to mention the teleportation portal was right there, there was no need to fight unnecessarily.
Thinking this, Main Universe Iron Man moved a bit closer to the teleportation portal. But just then, the teleportation portal flashed again, and another person appeared, the Asgardian he encountered earlier in the mining field.
"I knew it!" The newcomer said, covering his forehead, "I noticed something off with the teleportation portal's light when you left and knew you went wrong. I tried several locations before finding you. Why did you come to the minefield?"
Main Universe Iron Man opened his mouth to speak, but the newcomer had already seen Superman. The newcomer was shocked and shouted, "Why is there an enemy here?! Father of All Gods, grant me strength!!!"
The Asgardian swung his weapon and charged up. Main Universe Iron Man couldn't pull him back, so he hastily shouted in that direction, "Don't fight! This is a minefield!!!"
"Run!" JARVIS shouted, "They might survive an explosion, but you'd be dead for sure! Get out through the teleportation portal!"
Main Universe Iron Man bolted immediately. Just as he passed through the teleportation portal, a massive explosion went off behind him. There were so many bombs triggered, it was unclear which one exploded first, but a chain reaction followed behind.
The Main Universe Iron Man who emerged from the teleportation portal took a deep breath, then quickly heard Professor X's voice, "Main Universe Iron Man, your mecha coordinates show you're not at the designated location. Where did you go? It's best not to... God! What exploded?!"
Professor X had no time for Main Universe Iron Man, but he felt a bit guilty. On returning to the outpost, he reported truthfully what he had encountered.
At this point, the command center was as lively as a market again. They discovered a chain explosion had occurred in zone 12 of the eastern defense line, but the Green Lantern fleet had withdrawn from the frontline two hours earlier. So what did it blow up?
The answer was: four Supermen were blown away. And the Asgardian had already slipped through the teleportation portal before the chain reaction began.
After the Asgardian charged, Superman had to take the challenge. The space here seemed spacious but was full of hidden mines. Under a barrage of attacks, Superman kept retreating and ended up stepping into a gravity trap, getting flung aside.
He was thrown above a magnetic storm bomb, and the electromagnetic strong magnetic field erupted, disrupting his biological field, making him temporarily unable to control his form, tumbling towards a direction, and crashing onto a sun bomb.
He realized this thing had a high energy level, but it was too late when he tried to fly back. The Asgardian could go through the teleportation portal, but it wasn't open to enemies. Even if Superman could fly at sub-light speed, it required some distance to accelerate, and his initial speed wasn't fast. Before he could fly out, he was blasted away.
The other Supermen found he hadn't returned for a long time, so they came looking for him, resulting in the exploding sun bomb triggering other bombs, blowing away three more Supermen who came looking.
Finally, two stronger Supermen used massive frozen breath to stop the chain explosion and rescued the four comrades.
The first Superman who got blown up was in the worst shape, barely holding on. The remaining three were slightly better but had lost the most basic ability to move. Clearly, when they came over, they forgot to emphasize in their minds that they are the Man of Steel.
However, when facing nuclear fusion explosions head-on, even the Man of Steel seems useless. What's more, this Sun Bomb is an upgraded version by Doctor Otto, with an Adamant Alloy core in the center, possessing immense destructive power. When the first Superman was sent to the emergency room, Batman couldn't bear to look.
Primary Universe Batman stood outside the emergency room door, realizing that all the preparations he thought he had made were still insufficient. The opponent was truly prepared for a fierce and brutal full-scale war long ago.
The loss of four Supermen is considerable, at least their efficiency in mine-clearing work has greatly decreased. The other Supermen, knowing that this thing can hurt them, are also reluctant to rush forward, only able to slowly push from the edge inward. But the opponent's replenishment speed is more despair-inducing.
"We can't keep waiting like this anymore," Primary Universe Batman said, "Wonder Woman, quickly infiltrate from the western battlefield and force them to deploy forces there."
"They must have arranged defenses on the western battlefield," Primary Universe Wonder Woman said, "We should send a reconnaissance team first to see what defenses they've set up, so we can make specific arrangements."
"That's the issue, once the reconnaissance team is discovered, our intentions will be exposed. It's better to charge directly, regardless of who, fight them first," Primary Universe Batman said.
Primary Universe Wonder Woman thought for a moment, nodded her head, and then said, "I think they won't expect you to send us, especially since our divine power is hard to replenish. Let's just hope we don't encounter the most troublesome ones."
"Probably not, I think it'll most likely be Captain America and Spider Man. The mutants should all be gathered behind the outpost, in the direction of their real base at the Andromeda Galaxy, so they can better protect the main camp."
Primary Universe Wonder Woman nodded. She immediately went out to gather her companions, not bringing too many people, only bringing six Wonder Women, totaling seven, including herself. They didn't intend to actually break into the outpost, just exert some pressure in that direction.
Primary Universe Wonder Woman quickly reached the battle site. They used divine power to hide their forms, slowly flying towards the outpost. Just as they were getting close enough to see with the naked eye, an energy alarm was suddenly triggered.
"Oh, damn it." Wonder Woman gritted her teeth, looking at the floating Magic Bell in midair, and whipped it directly, sending the thing flying. But actually, it was no use; the outpost had already received the warning.
Captain America, patrolling in shifts at the outpost, immediately set out. They formed a team of three, mostly using the shields given by the Central Universe as propulsion devices, flying towards the place where the alarm was triggered at the fastest speed.
The leader was Primary Universe Captain America. Seeing Wonder Woman, he shouted, but obviously, she couldn't hear. Both sides didn't waste time talking and started fighting directly on the spot. Primary Universe Captain America also sent a message to the other counterparts, and the nearest team quickly arrived, resulting in a 6 vs 7 situation.
Both sides were cautious at first, constantly testing each other's abilities. Primary Universe Captain America balanced on a hoverboard, skillfully evading Wonder Woman's whip. Wonder Woman tried several times to throw her Lasso of Truth to bind Captain America but failed every time.
"Get his hoverboard first!" another Wonder Woman whispered, "Without a propulsion device, he can't fly on his own!"
Primary Universe Wonder Woman nodded. She charged forward symbolically, as if to engage in close combat. Primary Universe Captain America then switched the shield form, ready to face Wonder Woman's punches again.
Primary Universe Wonder Woman feigned a left hook, taking advantage of Captain America raising his shield and stealthily wrapped her whip around it with another hand, her divine power glowing briefly, quickly pulling back twenty meters, and then yanked the Lasso of Truth hard.
With a "whoosh," the shield in Primary Universe Captain America's hand was yanked away. Then Primary Universe Wonder Woman pulled the Lasso of Truth back, and the shield flew straight into her hand.
"Hmph." Primary Universe Wonder Woman chuckled softly, even posing with the shield in her arm in Captain America's signature stance. Just as she was about to say something, she saw Primary Universe Captain America, unfazed, one hand on his hip, gesturing to her with the other hand.
Primary Universe Wonder Woman didn't react in time, failing to pull her hand out of the shield handle, resulting in her being pulled back to Primary Universe Captain America's position by the shield.
The two collided with a loud "bang." Primary Universe Captain America was prepared, using his arm to block, while Primary Universe Wonder Woman crashed solidly. Dazed for a moment, Primary Universe Captain America then punched her squarely in the face, followed by a leg sweep, locking her in a naked choke. Although there was no ground, it still caused Primary Universe Wonder Woman to lose her balance.
The nearby Captain Americas, battling other Wonder Women, saw this situation and dashed over, using all hands to pin down Primary Universe Wonder Woman.
But Wonder Woman is, after all, a demigod. Her bracelets began to glow as she roared:
"Ugh!!!!"
The instant the divine power exploded, all the Captain Americas charging forward were blasted away. The other Wonder Women sharply seized the moment, as they lost their balance for an instant, and their Lasso of Truth was thrown out, ensnaring three Captain Americas on the spot.
When Primary Universe Captain America realized things weren't looking good, he first used his shield to knock away a Wonder Woman trying to rush over, then reached out to pull back a Captain America who had been bound, while his other hand pressed the communicator to call for reinforcements.
A few seconds later, from the ends of the universe came a roar: "The Hulk!!!!!"
