Mariah stood there frozen in shock as if they kicked her in the gut .
Claire saw her silence as a cue, and brushed past her bumping her shoulders.
Mariah aggressively turned glaring daggers at Claire . She stumped her feet and left seething in anger Sarah and Bella following behind her .
She went to the bathroom she looked at her angry face in the mirror,
" How dare that lowlife speak to me in that manner ?" , she asked in gritted teeth.
" Mariah please calm down, we will teach her a lesson"
" Ha, she scoffed , a lesson ?, no I don't just want a lesson, I want to torture her till she would wish she hadn't messed with me in the first place. Give me my handbag " , she snatched it from Bella . She collected her phone and dialed a number, the call connected
"Hi Samuel, how are you doing, I need your help" , she didn't even wait for Samuel to return her greetings or for them to exchange pleasantries .
"There is a picture I will send to you, and the person in that picture I want you to fuck her up so badly she would regret messing with me. She always bullies me so I want her to get a taste of her own medicine. Can you do that for me please Sammy ?", she complained feigning weak voice .
" Alright send the picture" , Samuel said
" Thanks Sam, you are the best" , Mariah praised and needed the call .
"That's what you get for messing with me Claire ",she smirked not even bothering to hide the sinister look on her face
Sarah and Bella shouldered and looked at each other .
Mariah raised an eyebrow, " what are you both moping around for, let's go or you can enjoy the rubbish stench of the bathroom", she said and strolled out .
" Claire what were you thinking, we can finally say goodbye to our scholarship cause Mariah is going to report us to her sponsor daddy obviously", Cleo bombarded as they reached her seat . Then it clicked on , Claire looked at Cleo 'did I just speak to Mariah like that ' kind of look
Cleo nodded ," yeah,yeah you just did",
Claire gasped covering her mouth as the gravity of the situation sank in
The both of them sighed together as they slumped on the chair , " well we can't do anything other than to go beg her , that girl is such a bitch", Claire said as if those words had been hanging in her throat
"I can't always tolerate her just because her daddy is the highest sponsor, this is so annoying" , just then students started coming in.
"Alright I will be going to my class now" , Cleo said standing up
" Ok see you after....." , she was still talking when Alex walked in . It was as if he was commanding respect as he walked all of them just shifted for him to pass . Cleo looked at him drooling and turned to Claire smiling .
Alex just kept walking cause he had gotten used to the attention he gets well apart from one girl that always manages to crumble any little composure he has left and leave his heart in a beating mess . As he was passing Cleo he stopped and stared at her his eyes narrowed a little dangerously he spoke in her head,
' what are you doing here domalia',
Cleo looked up shocked her head screaming for her to run but her body was frozen, ' get out ' he said and Cleo left with speed not even looking back
To others it seemed as though Cleo caught his attention including Claire who was already seething with jealousy 'so he just wanted to get close to Cleo not even me ' she already over thought and concluded the best option for herself.
Alex not even aware of the problem he has caused among his class people and the inner battle Claire is having with between her mind . He looked at Claire and smiled a little but to Claire that was like a mocking smile
' is he mocking me now he has gotten the attention of the girl he wants, ' he heart felt so heavy cause of the level of anger she was holding up at that point, she was already imagining herself walking up to Alex and slap the shit out of him, which she did but as she stood up to go slap him the lecturer walked in. She just glared at him and sat down . Alex confused as to why she greeted him like that sat down too scratching the back of his neck .
