Chapter 3 - Can't Escape Eliose VanDoph

Emelia believed to have reached far away from the palace. She let out a sigh as she did a happy dance. She was free, she made it. She didn't have to marry the tyrant king Eliose VanDoph. She looked around and saw that the coast was clear.

"Well then, time to leave to our city" Emilia happily said. She knew that she could stay hidden in the city while planing her next show once again in Morose. It wasn't a kingdom new to her but she went in there disguised as someone else while earning money on her own . By that, she would be able to live independently without needing the king of Lancecrest support . She sighed with relief as a sudden feel of lightless washed all over her body. Her eyes felt dizzy and her bones felt weak. What was happening to her? She was falling to the ground as a pair of hands grabbed her.

"Outsmarting the king was the stupidest thing you tried to do my lady" it was an unfamiliar voice that spoke as Emilia's gaze shut down. She was inside a pool of dizziness but she could hear the sound of a horse and she felt her body being placed in a carriage.

The voice of the man multiplied and she swore to have heard more than just one person now. Maybe women? Yes , she was sure that she now heard the voices of women. Her body felt tingly as every part of her felt bare. Her eyelids were to heavy to life , however when she finally did, she found herself back in her royal chamber, with many servants surrounding her. The wore her a royal blue gown and beautiful jewels to compliment her beauty. She looked perfect for a queen.

Emilia still couldn't move, she still felt paralyzed as load of migraines attacked her poor head. The maids placed her on a wheelchair and rode her towards the place she despised the most. When they arrived at the throne room, Emilia was taken into it as her eyes landed on a familiar breathtaking man.

He stared at her with an expressionless gaze and he never took his sight off her even when she was made to sit beside him.

Emilia shifted her gaze to look at King Lancecrest who sat with a smile on his face.

"Emilia my child, meet your future husband, the king of Morose Kingdom, Eliose VanDoph. He would take you to his kingdom today as I already informed you yesterday" King Lancecrest said without a sign of regret in his eyes. Everything was happening so fast that Emelia wanted to immediately weep but she kept herself strong because it would be a shame for both men to feel that they won.

"William, take the princess to my carriage. I would join her in a few minutes" Eliose ordered his trusted servant who did as told. He looked at Emilia and felt her anger through her exhausted gaze but that only brought pleasure to him. He loved that rage in felt although he hated how Lancecrest treated his soon to be bride.

As soon as she was gone, Eliose looked at King Lancecrest with a look of dissatisfaction. By realizing this, Lancecrest stood up from his throne and came towards Eliose with fear in his eyes.

"My Lord, are you not satisfied with Emilia's beauty? I promised you a flower and I have delivered a flower to you" King Lancecrest spoke in a low tone and anyone could sense his fear.
