After dropping their back packs on a table, both brothers cleaned themselves one after another. Both took out a black silk dress which outlined their physique perfectly.
Except for the fact that Alan was a couple of inch taller than his brother's, their built were almost a replica of each other. Both brothers had tied their shoulder length hair by a brown leather cord and the slight stubble on their faces gave them a slightly rugged look.
As a knock on the door landed, both brother who were talking happily stood up and went to open the door as they knew it would be a summons for the dinner.
What surprised them was, it was not a maid or a servent but the Princess herself who was wearing a beige coloured long dress, a golden circlet around her head and waist length open hair looking like an angel. Both Alan and Ben bowed their heads.
On the other hand, Sharon was stunned by the looks of the two brothers. Usually, a beautiful young lady like Sharon would take the limelight by her beauty and looks but here, the two brothers were looking like heros of the ancient times. They had some kind of charm, a kind of aura that drew her towards them like a piece of iron dragged towards a huge, strong magnet bar.
She cleared her throat to clear the awkwardness. "Alan, Benjamin, please follow me."
They were the last ones to reach the dining hall. Everyone else were already seated at the table. The second left seat from the king after the Queen was left open for the Princess and the two last seats almost opposite to the king were left empty for the two new arrivals.
Although the two were the young ones amongst the visitors and the Generals, the aura around them gave them a majestic feeling. Everyone wondered whether these two were Princes from another kingdom!?
The two bowed to the King in respect before they were gestured to take their seat. The whole dining area fell silent as the King stood up. " Sir Alan and Sir. Benjamin, thank you both for saving my daughter from the clutch of a devil practitioner. As a father please accept my humble gratitude."
What followed next, stunned everyone, including Sharon, who had tears in her eyes. She knew her family loved her but never imagined that they all will bow so deeply infront of others to show their gratitude.
Both Alan and Ben were on their feet instantly and were bowing similarly. Please Your Highness, my Queen and Prince's. It's not a big deal. You are the ruler of this Kingdom and should not bow to anyone. Even as a father you can't do it, especially infront of so many people." These words from Alan and Ben increased the respect of the King towards them by loads.
"By any chance are you two related to the King of the Phoenix kingdom?" The King asked with a slight wonder in his tone.
"By blood we are not related Your Highness. However King Charles and Queen Maaya are like a family to us. One of our brother is engaged to Princess Bella." This news from Ben piqued everyone's interest. This was a news to Sharon also!
"Great news. Wonderful. Now, let us finish our meal before we discuss about the upcoming issue." The king lifted his goblet of wine and took a sip to mark the start of the dinner.
Amongst the people there, few eyes were showing hostility towards the two young men for stealing the spotlight from them.
