Title: Zoe Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Kevin Grevioux Join the Cast of Batman Pt. 3

Just saw the official announcement from DCU Studios that these three have joined the cast of Batman Pt. 3!

I think Zoe is going to be Catwoman, but I have no idea about the other two. Colin might be Hush that would be wild.

Top Comments:

u/FothaOwre87:

I like Zoe Kravitz, but I was honestly hoping for someone like Eva Green or something. She would've been perfect as Catwoman.

u/TheFnight_Sezurns:

Colin Farrell as Hush? Maybe, maybe. He could definitely pull it off.

u/CinemMaxhaos:

Who is Kevin Grevioux? Never heard of him.

u/Filerdrife replying to u/CinemMaxhaos:

He's an actor and screenwriter… big dude, deep voice. He was in the Underworld movies. I'm guessing Kevin could maybe play Bane?

u/LuaMask5fdd2 replying to u/Filerdrife:

Yeah, no. No way Bane is being played by him. Look, I'm all for changing a character's race, but changing Bane might be too much. He's Latino that's part of his identity.

u/XelaDseupefan:

I don't think Zoe Kravitz is suited for Catwoman. She doesn't have the presence, you know?

u/Middnthusiast:

Colin Farrell interests me. Honestly, we don't know anything about this movie. It just came out of nowhere.

u/Mynanmeins34d:

Zoe Kravitz is a great choice. She's got that effortless cool, and she can pull off the physicality. I'm excited.

u/CatwomanFan34:

I hope they give Catwoman a good costume.

[IMAGE: Leaked photo from Batman Pt. 3 set Colin Farrell in a fat suit]

Holy shit, Farrell is playing the Penguin. I did NOT see that coming.

Top Comments:

u/Jamiede34dg:

Wow, really? THE PENGUIN? That's… unexpected.

u/Lor3dpoell:

He kinda looks good, though. The prosthetics seem solid.

u/Garreleran88:

How do you waste Colin Farrell as Penguin???

u/Hellobro37 replying to u/Garreleran88:

How is this wasting him? He's playing a great villain in a major DC movie.

u/Garreleran88 replying to u/Hellobro37:

Because he's buried under prosthetics! You can't even see his face. What's the point?

u/Hellobro37 replying to u/Garreleran88:

That's what acting is. They transform. Prosthetics don't diminish a performance.

u/Garreleran88 replying to u/Hellobro37:

Still think it's a waste, but whatever.

U/Ohohreoniee_99dpom replying to u/Hellobro37:

A fat guy should have been cast. DCU is fatphobic. Why put a thin actor in a fat suit when there are actual plus-size actors who could play this role?

u/Hellobro37 replying to U/Ohohreoniee_99dpom:

Wow, it's like people just have to complain about everything.

U/Hohotom_pecker34:

Wait, so Penguin is in this? I thought this was supposed to be a Riddler-focused movie?

u/Mariunde7bb:

This is going to be insane.

My Theory for the Plot of Batman Pt. 3

Alright, so I've been piecing together all the leaks, set photos, casting announcements, and that Cavill leak from a few months ago about Superman's involvement. I think I've cracked what Batman Pt. 3 is actually about and it's WAY different than anyone expects.

The movie opens with Gotham in chaos. After the events of The Dark Knight, the city is more divided than ever. Some see Batman as a hero, but others see him as the man who killed Harvey. The GCPD is on the hunt for him. A new character (I'm thinking maybe a corrupt police commissioner or politician) starts a campaign to bring Batman down.

Meanwhile, Superman is dealing with his own issues in Metropolis. The government and the public are growing nervous about him; he's too powerful, too alien. What if he decides humanity isn't worth protecting? Someone in the government (maybe Amanda Waller?) approaches Superman and tells him about Batman how he needs to be brought to justice.

This is where it gets interesting. Batman, knowing Superman is coming for him, prepares. He builds contingencies, studies Superman's weaknesses, and gets his hands on Kryptonite (maybe through LexCorp?).

They have their first confrontation. Superman tries to reason with Batman, but Batman doesn't trust him.

They fight.

And here's where I think Adler is pulling from The Dark Knight Returns the iconic Superman vs. Batman fight. Batman uses Kryptonite, traps, and his intellect to level the playing field.

But then plot twist they realize they've been manipulated. The real villain (maybe Riddler? Maybe Lex Luthor pulling strings from the shadows?) orchestrated the whole thing to turn them against each other. It was a setup.

Batman and Superman have to team up to take down the real threat. They reluctantly learn to trust each other. By the end of the movie, they've formed a bond setting up the eventual Justice League.

I know this sounds crazy, but think about it: the Cavill leak from two months ago proves my theory. Superman has a big role in it, and Batman Pt. 3 was specifically greenlit to build toward Justice League.

This isn't just Batman Pt. 3 this is Batman vs. Superman.

And I think it's going to be incredible.

What do you guys think?

Top Comments:

u/Icdramtica_john:

This sounds absolutely terrible. Why would you waste a Batman movie on a Superman conflict?

u/ManOfTomorrow92:

I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest theory I've ever read. Superman would NEVER be manipulated like this. He's not an idiot.

u/Ilovejenny_22:

You're overthinking this. It's going to be a Riddler movie with Catwoman and Penguin as side villains. That's it. Superman's involvement is probably just a cameo.

u/Mkaeibellemione:

Honestly? I'd be down for this.

u/Noopes9ineft:

This sounds like a complete mess.

u/Opindead_hopla:

I mean… it's not impossible. But I really hope this isn't the direction they're going.

u/Ivengebnceman:

You lost me at "Riddler is the mastermind pulling the strings."

u/Brandifwnxs:

This is the worst timeline. Please let this be wrong.

[VIDEO: Batman: Dark Reign Full E3 2016 Gameplay Reveal]

Title: My expectations were low, and I am GLAD I kept it that way. This has blown me away. WOW. Game of the Year, I'm sure of it.

This is everything I've ever wanted in a Batman game. The Nemesis System, the open world, the detective work, the combat it all looks perfect.

Top Comments:

u/Ocanintufer:

So I've been digging into how this Nemesis System operates. From what I've heard, Adler is the one who owns it after buying Monolith Productions. Apparently, they'd been developing it for a canceled Lord of the Rings game. It's genius every enemy remembers you, evolves, and reacts to your choices. This is going to revolutionize open-world games.

u/lookmister_iamher:

How beautiful does this look? Holy shit. The rain effects, the lighting… Fuck, I can't wait to get my hands on this.

u/isthisnotwhatyouwnt_yes1:

The graphics are insane. Batman gliding over the city with the rain streaking down his cape… its real gameplay, holy shit.

u/Bigmancrew_javris:

I'm most impressed by how smooth everything looks. The transitions between gameplay and cutscenes are seamless. If this is what we're getting in 2017, I'm hyped.

u/leConnoisseur_gormn:

The combat looks absolutely sick. I love that you can't just button-mash your way through you have to read enemy behavior, counter, adapt.

u/Pokiriun23

This is the Batman game I've been waiting for. HOLY SHIT. The detective work, the stealth, the boss fights it's all there. Ari Calder and the DC Games team are legends. And Adler too, I guess.

u/Michengsanbraler

What I got from an insider friend of mine: the Nemesis System seems to be the crown jewel. Every enemy you encounter has a personality, a history, and a memory. If you defeat them, they might come back stronger, angrier, and with new tactics. What makes this even better is that even random goons can rise up the ranks. Take out one, and someone else rises to fill the void. Ignore a low-level thug, and they might climb the ladder and become a serious threat later.

Six distinct districts, each with its own aesthetic, factions, and criminal activity. Full verticality rooftops, streets, sewers, underground lairs. Crimes happen in real time, and you can choose to intervene or ignore them (with consequences either way).

The Batmobile is confirmed, and from what we've seen, it's not just a vehicle it's a weapon, a tool, and a mobile command center.

Detective Mode: This isn't just "press a button to see enemies through walls." You're analyzing crime scenes, piecing together clues, reconstructing events. It's actual detective work. The game respects Batman as the World's Greatest Detective.

Combat: It's very addictive. You build combos by reading enemy attacks and responding perfectly. Counters, redirects, environmental takedowns, gadget integration — it's all there. And enemies adapt. If you always use the same tactics, they'll learn and counter you.

Stealth: Well, you are Batman. You're the hunter; enemies are afraid of you. But if you're sloppy if you get caught they'll call for backup, set traps, and turn the tables. The demo showed how you can use fear as a weapon: isolate enemies, take them down silently, and let the remaining ones panic. I was told there are more Assassin's Creed-inspired elements as well.

The main story is actually based around a new villain, according to my friend — can't confirm it yet.

But I am sure this is Game of the Year 2017.

u/thecondctero

I'm trying not to get my hopes too high, but goddamn, this looks perfect. If it plays as good as it looks, we're in for something special.

u/Leindrif934

The fact that you can just glide around Gotham, stop crimes, hunt criminals, and build your own stories through the Nemesis System? That's gaming perfection. I'm going to sink hundreds of hours into this.

"Woah," I said, looking at Jessica's Catwoman cosplay.

"Hey, stop staring at my girlfriend, Adler," Matt said, though he was grinning.

"You look great," I said to Jessica. "Must've spent some time on this one."

Jessica Matt's thankfully now-serious, steady girlfriend was wearing a Catwoman cosplay for Comic-Con, which we were heading to in an hour. The black leather suit was sleek and very accurate to the old Keaton movie.

The Batman panel was today, and tomorrow was the big one, the Justice League panel, which would reveal the 2018 and 2019 DCU movies and feature the Justice League cast together for the first time.

Big two days for DC. And I was very confident we had some good stuff on our hands.

In the next two weeks, I had the premiere of The Thing, then I'd be going to Venice for the Birdman premiere.

Damn, I need to take a break or something, I thought. But I knew that was basically impossible now. After this, I had to deal with Game of Thrones, then continue editing both The Witch and helping with Batman Pt. 3. Oh, and I still needed to write the next A Song of Ice and Fire book.

Fuck. I felt like I had another big burnout crash moment coming.

Matt broke me out of my thoughts. "We should go."

"Yeah, yeah. Let's," I said.

Matt and Jessica left first, and I left half an hour later with my assistant, Graves, and the rest of my team.

Yes, I had more people with me now. Basically, my workload had increased to the point where I needed a lot of help which meant a lot of people around me when I was going to events like this.

Graves herself had an assistant, too.

I wondered if that assistant had an assistant.

Adrian, my chief of staff, had basically upgraded everything so I could delegate but I still felt like doing most things on my own. Old habits I guess.

I arrived at the convention center and, like every time before, was taken through a VIP entrance and led to a suite. I met with Dave there and was told that Jenson and the others would arrive in an hour or so.

We talked with the staff about what had been planned and what I had to do. Basically, this panel was Nolan, me, Jenson,Brenton Thwaites, Zoe Kravitz, Colin Farrell, and Bryan Cranston. The moderator would announce everyone, the panel would begin, and by the end, the trailer would be shown. That was it for today.

"Well, tomorrow is where you have to take the lead," Dave said.

I met up with Matt again, and we walked around the convention for a while before I needed to return. There were too many fans who wanted my attention.

Backstage, I saw the cast had arrived. I greeted them all: Jenson, Zoe, Bryan, Colin, and Nolan.

"You look beautiful," I said to Zoe.

"What? No compliments for us?" Colin said. Jenson joined in as well.

Bryan put a hand on his chest, mock-offended. "I'm hurt."

We all laughed it off.

Nolan and I talked for a bit as we waited mostly about the edit of a scene we disagreed on. We were still ironing it out. The movie was currently at around three hours and ten minutes, and we had to cut it down to under three hours due to pressure from theaters. We had some disagreements on this movie as well like who the composer would be. I wanted to bring in Michael Giacchino to work with Hans Zimmer so the new Batman films would have a fresh OST and eventually sound distinct. Even Zimmer agreed, and the two of them ended up collaborating to create one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. The movie drew major inspiration from Reeves's Batman, at least the version I remembered from my old life.

This would be Nolan's final DCU project as really wanted to move away from Batman and DC to other projects. Interstellar was next, where I had a producer credit.

Time passed quickly, and soon the panel began. I was announced first.

"The CCO of DC Studios, the man who makes it all possible—Daniel Adler!"

The crowd erupted in cheers and applause.

I walked out, waving. The applause was deafening.

Then the rest of the cast was announced Nolan, Jenson,Brenton, Zoe, Bryan, and Colin to equally massive applause.

We all sat at the long table at the front of the stage, and the moderator kicked things off. The panel was mostly about the movie questions from the audience, stories from set, and a few teases without giving too much away.

One fan stood up during the Q&A. "Are we getting three more Batman movies in the next phase?"

The crowd burst into laughter.

Jenson leaned into the mic, grinning. "If Daniel's in, I'm in." He paused, then added cheekily, "But I feel like team-ups are coming."

That got a huge reaction. The crowd roared.

I shushed him playfully, and everyone laughed.

After a few more questions, as the panel was wrapping up, I said, "Okay, I think that's it. We're done."

The audience booed, clearly expecting a trailer or teaser.

I paused, then said, "Oh, wait yeah, right, we have the trailer." I snapped my fingers as if just remembering. "Yeah, I forgot."

More cheers erupted.

"Roll it," I said, grinning.

The lights dimmed. The screen behind us flickered to life.

And the crowd went wild.
