"I've noticed that when you talk now, it's always vague, and you always like to change the subject. Jian Yufei, you'd better not let me find out that you're hiding something from me, or I won't let you off!"
Ruan Tianling threatened her viciously, but such threats no longer scared Jian Yufei.
"What could I possibly be hiding from you? Don't let your imagination run wild."
Ruan Tianling laughed, "I actually hope I'm just being paranoid."
"Get up and eat, I've made dinner."
Jian Yufei nodded. The first thing she did upon standing up was take her birth control pills.
Ruan Tianling immediately showed his displeasure, "Are you still taking that?!"
Jian Yufei smiled, "I'm on other medication right now and can't have children."
With this explanation, Ruan Tianling's expression eased.
"Next time I'll be careful, so you won't have to take them anymore."
Jian Yufei realized that her burnt face was quite timely, always available to use as a shield.
