"I don't really know. I couldn't understand what they were saying, and you probably wouldn't understand, either. They said it's caused by prolonged fatigue, but it's not a big problem." Jian Yufei lied without blinking.
Ansel reluctantly believed her explanation, because he had been training his body intensively—fatigue was definitely likely.
"Mommy, how long did I sleep for?"
"Not too long, just half a day."
Ansel felt more at ease, but he still hated being sick.
"Mommy, I'm hungry." He pouted and acted spoiled, becoming even more childlike when he was sick.
"I'll go get you something to eat."
Jian Yufei heated up the porridge Mo Lan had bought in the microwave. By the time she brought it over, Ansel had already propped himself up, weakly leaning against the headboard.
