As the shadow shackles locked him in place, a figure transformed out of the slimy black substance behind him.
A slim, hunched figure, its body condensed entirely of shadows. Its long, thin arms ended in sharp blades. Though humanoid, it resembled a stickman, yet the power it gave off was no joke.
Imperius had underestimated the enemy.

As the lightning blast was about to hit, the figure vanished into a cloud of shadows, falling into the ground and disappearing.
Imperius gritted his teeth as the beam lit him up.
BOOOOM!
A massive explosion rang out, and a red vertical line descended from the sky.
ROOOOOOOOOOAR!
A terrifying roar rang out, but no one could see anything due to the blinding light of the explosion.
In a few seconds, as the light dimmed, the beast tamers looked at Imperius, their hearts trembling, expecting the worst.
"Good job," Imperius smiled.
