The sound of battle echoed throughout the city as Noctarion and the city governor clashed in the sky at supersonic speeds.
If one looked, one could see blurs disappearing and reappearing from time to time, accompanied by an intense sound of clashing. But at the moment, no one had time to look up. They were all either focused on escaping to the shelters for safety or gathering at the nearest city wall to help fight the incoming beast wave.
The powerhouses in the city observed the fight in the sky, unmoving.

The vehicles had stopped on the streets, their seats empty, as people tried to escape. They screamed, crying as they pushed each other around, fighting to reach the shelters sooner.
