Swoosh—!
Without hesitation, Gin closed the gap between himself and the Horror, seizing the opportunity to launch another assault. Taking advantage of the creature's momentary distraction, he pressed forward with renewed vigor, determined to capitalize on its confusion.
Slash—!
But the Horror stepped back before spinning, using its tail to return the failed attack that Gin had done.
Gin, who was already adapting to the Horror's mannerism could see the attack, albeit a little too late since it was still as fast as the eye could see.
Anticipating the impending attack, Gin raised one hand in defense, bracing himself for the impact. However, the force of the blow overwhelmed him, pushing him back several steps despite his efforts to hold his ground.
"Not bad."
Gin coughed, blood staining his lips as he wiped his mouth with determination. Assuming a stance, he refused to wait for the Horror to strike first, knowing he couldn't afford to let it gain the upper hand again.
