I learned a lot from their fight, which only continued because Zed started throwing tantrums and provoking her like a child.
But the thing that intrigued me from their fight the most was—Laws.
From Zed's thoughts and their practical use in battle, I grasped the basic concept: a Law is a manifestation of a principle that multiplies the efficiency of an action based on the principle applied.
For example, Mira was using the Law of Piercing.
By applying that principle to her spell, she massively increased its threat level—so much so that Zed chose to counter the spell instead of blocking it.
But Laws can only be seen or manipulated starting from Adept-Rank.
Interestingly, that's also how spells are constructed. They're made from multiple bits of Law, compressed together into Prana/Magic Circle to create unique phenomena—what we call a magic.
However, casting a spell using a Prana Circle and applying a Law are two very different things.
