Lucas and I make our way to the theater where the play is being performed. It's an open-air amphitheater, with a wooden stage and a few benches for the audience to sit on. There are a few dozen people already seated, and a few more milling around outside the theater. The woman selling entrance passes to the play looks us up and down and gives us a disapproving look. I don't know why.
Lucas shrugs at her and hands over the coins for entrance.
The look on her face when he does this makes me think that perhaps the look has something to do with him.
With as much as this man has made a nuisance of himself around Latrides, it's sometimes shocking to me that it took so long for our paths to cross.
The amphitheater, such as it is, is really little more than an open air plaza with seats set up to observe. It isn't particularly large, but considering how packed Carleon's streets can be, it makes sense that they created a designated place for it.
