Clovis simply stared at them, watching the group leave.
The general couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows. At the very least, the worst-case scenario had been avoided. The only problem would be the challenge itself.
The general came to Clovis. "I apologize for all the mess here."
"It is fine." Clovis just nodded, treating it as not a big deal.
"I have heard that you are someone who can easily fight someone above your tier, but after seeing your clash today, my eyes have truly been opened."
"It is bound to happen." Clovis sighed.
"Still, are you going to proceed with the challenge?"
"What's the government's stance?"
"If you wish to proceed with the challenge, then we will arrange it to the best of our ability. The only problem is that once there is a challenge like this, I'm afraid that the others will consider it as well."
"They are going to bring multiple challengers to exhaust me?"
