Chapter 352 - Chapter 352: Even Gods Get Fingered

[BOOM!]

With a resounding pop, Kakashi's signature move—One Thousand Years of Death—landed squarely.

Uchiha Madara's Susanoo shattered completely.

His body trembled... and cracked apart.

"Uchiha Funan!!!"

Madara let out a blood-curdling scream.

You bastard!

How dare you use a technique like that on me?!

What happened to the dignity of a true warrior?!

Uchiha Madara was absolutely livid.

To be humiliated like that—right in front of everyone—by Funan of all people?

Unforgivable.

Hashirama twitched at the corner of his mouth, utterly bewildered.

Funan turned his head toward Hashirama and said, "What are you standing around for? I'm done—your turn."

"Oh—oh!" Hashirama nodded dumbly, then charged at Madara.

Tobirama: "…"

That dialogue… was it just my imagination?

Uchiha Funan… you shameless Uchiha!

"ROAR!!!"

A massive wooden avatar hurled a punch forward.

[Boom!]

Madara quickly dodged, his eyes still locked on Funan, filled with hatred and humiliation.

"What are you staring at?" Funan curled his lip disdainfully. "That glare of yours won't kill anyone."

Uchiha glares could kill—but to someone at Funan's level, they meant nothing now.

Madara's face twisted into a grimace of fury.

He couldn't win.

Facing both Funan and Hashirama, and with so many others assisting in the fight, his strength alone was completely overwhelmed.

"Am I… really going to lose?"

A bitter taste rose in Madara's mouth.

"Fool…"

A voice suddenly echoed in Madara's ear.

"Who's there?!"

Madara was startled.

Not even Uchiha Funan or Hashirama could've approached him this silently without him noticing.

"…There was enormous power in your body, but you didn't know how to use it."

Upon hearing that voice—half reminder, half rebuke—Madara's expression shifted.

Almost instinctively, he began to circulate his chakra in a very particular way.

He didn't even know why.

He just… did it.

"Hm?"

Funan's expression changed slightly.

From the moment Madara absorbed the Ten Tails, Funan hadn't taken his eyes off him.

He knew.

Kaguya was about to appear.

Now, seeing Madara begin to transform—even the very nature of his chakra was changing—Funan realized it was happening: the other was truly evolving into Six Paths Madara.

"So it's happening after all…"

Funan let out a quiet sigh in his heart.

Becoming the Six Paths Madara brought a tremendous increase in power. But in the end, he was still betrayed by Black Zetsu and used as a sacrifice to resurrect Kaguya.

Funan began forming hand seals.

The stage was set. The actors were all in position. It was time to start the show.

From this moment forward, the enemies would step onto the stage one after another.

And Funan would show no mercy.

He would defeat them all—

Six Paths Madara.

Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.

Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo.

[Vmmm…!]

A black sphere enveloped Madara.

"Funan!"

Hashirama stepped in front of Funan, speaking gravely. "What's going on? What's happening to Madara?"

"He's become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki."

Funan kept his eyes fixed on the dark orb and replied flatly, "He absorbed the Ten Tails earlier. It seems he hadn't fully fused with it at the time. But now… this is the real deal. The true Ten-Tails Jinchūriki. The second Sage of Six Paths—Six Paths Madara."

Just as Funan finished speaking, the black sphere shattered.

A new Madara emerged.

His hair had turned stark white. On his forehead was a headpiece resembling a forehead protector.

He wore a white cloak, black pants, and tall boots. Around his collar floated six dark red tomoe, and the inside of his collar had darkened to the same color.

Behind him hovered nine Truth-Seeking Balls. In his hand, he held the Sage's staff.

He stood proudly in midair, his expression cold and aloof.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk…" Funan clicked his tongue and muttered, "Why is it that once someone reaches the Sage level, their hair always turns white? Is that supposed to symbolize premature aging?"

"I don't have time for your jokes."

Hashirama's expression was grave as he stared at Six Paths Madara.

That old friend, now floating in the air, was radiating danger from every fiber of his being.

"Funan, he's strong. Incredibly strong."

Hashirama sighed.

After dying once, this ninja world no longer felt like the one he had known.

The power that had once made him unbeatable—was now barely enough to place him third.

He glanced over at Naruto and Sasuke in the distance.

Those two brats… their power was catching up to his.

It wouldn't be long before they surpassed him entirely.

"I know. But I'm no weakling either."

Funan took a step forward, standing in front of Hashirama.

"First Hokage, I'm counting on your support."

Hashirama hesitated briefly. "Let me take the lead. After all, I'm already dead."

"You can't. You're too weak."

Hashirama: "…"

He had lived for decades, and this was the first time anyone had ever called him weak.

That feeling… what the hell.

...

Meanwhile, in the consciousness space…

Naruto sat bored on the ground, listening to the old man in front of him blabber on and on.

He kept yawning. He was on the verge of falling asleep!

What was this old guy even talking about?

The two brothers had been fighting nonstop over succession, all the way from the birth of the ninja world to now.

Naruto didn't get it.

All this fighting… just over a successor?

How twisted could you get?

And what if you did win?

Would that get you another bowl of ramen or something?

Instead of fighting forever, why not just go your separate ways?

The ninja world's huge—there's plenty of places to go.

Sensing what Naruto was thinking, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo couldn't help but twitch at the corner of his mouth.

He didn't even know where to begin criticizing him.

How could something like this possibly be

At this moment, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo had a massive headache.

He couldn't even tell where things had gone wrong.

These two brats—each one was more troublesome than the other.

Naruto? That one was a no-brainer. His head was full of mush.

Here he was, trying to explain the origins of ninjas and the story of his two sons… and Naruto somehow made the leap to ramen.

And Sasuke?

That one wasn't any easier to deal with either.

When Hagoromo tried to explain the origin of the ninja world to him, Sasuke's mind went straight back to that mysterious attack just moments ago.

When they first met, he'd already suspected that the Sage of Six Paths had forcefully twisted the Tailed Beast Bomb and attacked him and Naruto from the shadows, luring them into that strange space. And now that it had happened again, he was practically certain that was the case.

Sigh…

The Sage of Six Paths let out a long sigh, pondering silently to himself how he could possibly get these two to cooperate.

He needed them to inherit his power… to defeat his mother.

And maybe take care of Uchiha Funan too, while they were at it.

He clenched his jaw in frustration.

If he had known things would turn out like this, he should have stepped in and eliminated that brat the moment he awakened the Eternal Mangekyō.

There weren't that many Uchiha to begin with.

Even fewer awakened the Mangekyō.

When Funan awakened his Mangekyō, the Sage of Six Paths had already sensed it.

But he chose to ignore it. He didn't believe that brat would ever amount to anything troublesome.

Who could've predicted that in such a short time, the boy would also master Sage Mode?

The power of the Uchiha, combined with Sage Techniques, and all while hiding within Konoha...

By the time Uchiha Funan lost control—

The Sage realized that he could no longer do anything to stop him.

At that moment, strange chakra began to flow silently from the Sage's body, seeping into both Naruto and Sasuke.

Their eyes grew unfocused.

And their attitude toward the Sage… began to shift.

His once gentle gaze turned cold.

If the direct approach wouldn't work, then he'd just have to resort to other means.

[Boom!]

The wooden golem shattered under the assault of the black orbs.

Hashirama darted around, leaping through the air. Mid-movement, he pressed his hands together.

"Sage Art: Gate of the Great God!"

[Whoosh!]

A massive torii gate descended from the sky.

Six Paths Madara didn't even bother looking at it. He casually waved his hand, and a single black orb obliterated the gate.

More torii came down in succession—every single one was crushed.

"Wood Release!"

[Whoosh!]

Countless trees erupted from the ground.

Madara calmly formed a hand seal. Blades of lightning rained down and obliterated the forest.

"Fire Release!"

Funan formed a single hand sign.

Scarlet flames surged forth, infused with natural energy—capable of turning everything in their path to ash.

Madara waved a hand. A black orb morphed into a shield and floated in front of him.

"You lot…" Madara said flatly, "are truly annoying. Even now, you still refuse to give up?"

[Clang! Clang! Clang!]

Countless chains shot forward, wrapping toward him.

The Kage-level shinobi had begun assisting the main attackers.

Madara didn't even glance at them—just lazily flicked his hand.

[Crack!]

All the chains shattered.

"This won't work! We're getting nowhere like this!" Tobirama growled, his brows deeply furrowed.

Sage Art…

To fight this Madara—just like with Obito before—Senjutsu chakra was essential.

"This is the end."

Six Paths Madara calmly looked at Funan and Hashirama.

"I'll give you one last chance."

"No need," Funan replied with a faint smile. "We all have our convictions. You think we're wrong—but I don't agree with your way either."

Hashirama sighed softly.

"Madara… you know as well as I do that Infinite Tsukuyomi is nothing but an illusion. That world… isn't real."

"Then there's no other choice! You all can go die! No—let's meet again in the world of Infinite Tsukuyomi!"

A cold glint flashed through Madara's eyes.
