Downstairs, as he prepared to drive home for some rest, he heard some noises that puzzled him.
Before he could decipher the commotion's cause, a bright light flashed from behind him, startling him.
Looking back in alarm, he realized the light source was the headlights of a massive truck, its high beams blazing so brightly he could barely keep his eyes open.
"Holy shit!!!"
He cried out, flung his briefcase aside, and bolted.
