Wang Linchi watched as sparks erupted from the remote nuclear device, accompanied by a creaking sound. Clearly, it was nearing collapse.
"That's a relief; nothing unexpected happened." Wang Linchi checked the time: four hours and forty minutes. Although it was ten minutes later than he had estimated, it was still very good, considering he had originally budgeted five hours.
"Last hundred meters. Seeing as you're so punctual, I'll give you a hand."
Wang Linchi muttered quietly, glancing at the device again. "Might as well get some use out of this junk."
Using this thing required the perfect alignment of timing, geographical location, and human factors. Fulfilling these conditions was incredibly difficult, especially given the need for Game System bugs and erosion from the Abyss area. It was like dancing on a knife's edge, and Wang Linchi had no desire to experience such a situation again. Now, however, it was useless.
