For instance, when it comes to ordinary-level Divine Skills.
If Chen Mo, with a fourth-transition Divine Element, expends 10% Divine Power—say, 10,000 points of Divine Power—to perform an ordinary-level Divine Skill, a third-transition Divine Element expert would need to expend twice Chen Mo's amount, which is 20,000 points of Divine Power, to execute a defensive divine skill to fend off Chen Mo's attack.
And if the opponent possesses a fifth-transition Divine Element, they would only need to expend half the Divine Power that Chen Mo expends to execute a defensive divine skill to fend off Chen Mo's attack, which would be only 5,000 points of Divine Power.
This is assuming everyone possesses both attack and defense divine skills.
