When a second winner emerges, the strength of the regional barrier is reduced by a factor of two. When a third appears, it is reduced by an additional factor of three from its then-current strength, and so on. The Solar System is the 100th winner, so this time, the barrier's intensity will be directly reduced by a factor of 100 from its current level. Naturally, breaking through should now take only about a year.
Attacking the regional barrier is actually a very tedious task because all one needs to do is place a hand on it and wait. The regional barrier automatically deducts barrier points every second, based on one's total divine element. In the beginning, merely counting the number of digits in the regional barrier's point value was enough to make one's head spin. It's much better now, though a great many points still remain. Breaking through will not be so easy.
