Chapter 22 - Chapter 22, Encounter with a First-Stage Twilight Guild Hero_1

Zhang Long exclaimed, "What class is a Hero?"

"A Super Divine-level Class."

Everyone was startled.

"It's indeed a Super Divine-level Class."

"My God, we've actually come across a Hero with a Super Divine-level Class."

"It seems there are only a few Super Divine-level Classes. Could it be an Angel?"

"It can't be an Angel. Look at his back—there are no wings. Angels have wings, so he can't possibly be an Angel."

"My heavens, a Super Divine-level Class is too powerful! He faced a 50-strong Goblin tribe all by himself and wiped them out."

"We'd need to form a party to do that, yet he did it alone."

Jiang Chen looked at the group of people. He understood they were from a guild. Guilds often formed teams of dozens to exterminate Demonic Beings, especially the Goblin tribes in the forests. These tribes had a BOSS and could drop equipment.

Jiang Chen didn't want to waste words, so he turned and left.

Zhang Long watched Jiang Chen's figure, deep in thought. Since when has Naga Fissure had someone with a Super Divine-level Class? And why would such a person come here?

"Captain, that man just now... he didn't seem to be part of a guild?"

Zhang Long shook his head and smiled bitterly. "Don't even think about it. People like him won't join guilds. Even if they did, they wouldn't join ours. Our temple is small and cannot house such a great Buddha. Let's go!"

"Captain, aren't we going to hunt the Goblin tribe anymore?"

"Didn't you see? He's leveling up and enhancing his strength; he's clearly around Level 20. With him here, how can we find any tribes?"

"Why do I feel like he's very young?"

"Could he be a freshman? I remember now is when freshmen graduate."

"That's impossible. The freshmen are still leveling up in the Novice Village right now. This is the Naga Fissure, home to monsters around Level 20."

"I remember Yan City seemed to have two new SS-grade Class holders, and they're freshmen..."

「...」

Jiang Chen left the Goblin tribe, searching for another.

Killing those two Goblin tribes just now earned him over 10,000 experience points.

Over 10,000 experience points... that's a bit little. When will I be able to level up?

Jiang Chen looked at his experience points; he needed 70,000 to level up. Seventy thousand experience points. That's quite a bit! I'd have to kill over 600 Goblins to level up. Fortunately, each tribe has at least 20 Goblins, and some have over 100.

By annihilating dozens more tribes, he should be able to level up.

Jiang Chen continued searching for Goblin tribes. He had no interest in solitary Goblins.

As Jiang Chen continued his search in the forest, he suddenly felt a chill sweep over him, and he shivered inadvertently.

So cold. What's going on? Why has the temperature suddenly dropped so much?

He looked up and saw wisps of white smoke rising, a puzzled expression on his face.

There's something wrong up there.

Jiang Chen's figure flashed as he quickly moved upwards, hiding behind a large rock and looking up.

That was a Goblin tribe.

These Goblins stood frozen on the ground, unable to move, with bursts of cold air emanating from beneath their feet. In the center, a young girl in white held a Magic Wand, standing perfectly still.

Beside her stood three middle-aged men.

One was clad in Heavy Armor, wielding a broad blade.

Another wore a green Robe, holding a bow and arrow.

The last one held a Magic Wand, dressed in white.

Jiang Chen watched the three men, silently speculating. Their classes are Warrior, Archer, and Priest...

As for the girl in the middle, she was clearly a Magician. The three men were helping her increase her strength. Observing their levels and equipment, Jiang Chen guessed, These three must be strong.

Jiang Chen couldn't help but sigh. People with family backgrounds really are different. With three powerful guardians protecting her, her improvement speed must be many times faster.

Jiang Chen carefully observed the young girl. She was eating while casting Ice Attribute magic.

The surrounding Goblins were frozen, and countless numbers floated above their heads.

This girl is an Ice Mage, likely a hidden class among Magicians. It's a wide-area freezing skill that deals continuous damage. However, the damage numbers aren't very high. Only a little over 800 damage. And the attack frequency isn't very fast, roughly one attack every three seconds. These Goblins have 12,000 HP, so in thirty seconds, that's only 8,000 damage. It would take roughly a minute to kill one Goblin.

Jiang Chen smiled inwardly. Taking out a tribe in one minute isn't a quick pace at all.

The Archer, his eyes sharp, looked in Jiang Chen's direction and bellowed, "Who's there?"

The group immediately tensed, ready for combat, looking in the Archer's direction.

Jiang Chen lifted his head and gave an awkward smile. "Just passing by."

The Archer glanced at Jiang Chen's Magic shield. "Magician?"

He had just spoken when he internally denied it. No, that's not right. If you were a Magician, why would you carry an offensive longsword? Are you a Magic Swordsman?

"There's no need to guess. Hero, reveal your class!"

Jiang Chen stepped forward. "Why don't you reveal your classes first?"

Jiang Chen had barely spoken when the three revealed their classes.

Jiang Chen looked at their displayed classes, so startled he was speechless. Damn it...

Damn it... Levels as high as 53 and 54! These are First-Stage Heroes, and they're from the Twilight Guild—just the name sounds formidable. And one of them is even a Deputy Guild Leader! Damn, damn, damn... That's seriously impressive.

Jiang Chen humbly and honestly revealed his own information.

[Name: Jiang Chen]

[Occupation: Swordsman]

[Level: 17]

The three lowered their guard, seeing he was just a Level 17 Swordsman. But come to think of it, how did a Level 17 Swordsman end up in this forest? Isn't he afraid the Goblins will chop him up and eat him?
