"Sha Chen, mountains don't turn, but waters do. I have other matters to attend to today and will return another day."
Saint Zhunti planned to leave. Since he couldn't breach the defenses anyway, staying would only make him more of a laughingstock.
Tianpeng also realized Saint Zhunti seemed unable to break through and felt relieved. He was even eager to mock Zhunti upon hearing he was leaving.
Sha Chen shot him a glare, and only then did Tianpeng behave, not daring to say more.
Zhunti left swiftly.
Sha Chen, however, had no intention whatsoever of going out to investigate. He even instructed Tianpeng and Siti that they were not to leave for three years.
Zhunti is old and cunning, Sha Chen thought. If he's waiting outside to ambush us when our guard is down, it would be disastrous.
Without Sha Chen needing to remind him, Tianpeng wouldn't leave either. He was terrified of death.
