Fuhu Arhat was dead.
When he died, his eyes bulged, filled with despair and terror.
Split in two, the gashes on the corpse revealed that Fuhu Arhat's death had been a miserable one.
Although it wasn't to the extent of total annihilation of body and soul, his physical body was, nevertheless, ruined. The flesh was gone.
Fuhu Arhat could only be reborn through reincarnation. Even Fuhu Arhat's primordial spirit didn't escape; only his soul departed his body.
Having departed from his body, Fuhu Arhat's soul had nowhere to go and merely drifted in the air.
His complexion was extremely unsightly as he said, "Elder Maitreya Buddha, you must stand up for me. Sha Chen has truly gone too far, daring to destroy my physical body."
Maitreya Buddha said, "Don't worry. Sha Chen is thoroughly wicked and will certainly receive severe punishment."
