(An extra chapter for the "Frostfang's Claw" brothers [2/5])
Lady Yvette clearly had no intention of agreeing to Lionea's "reasonable request." She originally planned to crush young Sasha's foolish determination to chase after the non-existent "freedom" with a cold and resolute denial, continuing the "love-hate relationship" between her and Lionea over the past one hundred years.
But Morphy's sudden and unprincipled arrival, along with that curse-like question, seemed to instantly hit Yvette's Achilles' heel.
This almost instantly made the Third Lord, known as the "human bulldozer," back down and retreat decisively. This scene once again made Maxim feel the "power" of Master Morphy, yet to Lionea, who was familiar with Yvette's style, it tasted of an even more horrifying implication.
