Synopsis
Hello, and thank you for picking up this book. This is the story of a soul who died alone, only to be given a second chance at life. Reborn into a world of cultivation, the protagonist, Tian Shen Ji, quickly realizes that mere talent is not enough. Trapped and alone, he is left with a single, brutal code of survival: "Help, but not for free." This isn't the journey of a righteous hero. This is the ascent of a man who makes his way to the Peak through a precise calculation of risk and reward. Relying on the memories of his past life, he will use his wits, his ruthlessness, and his masterful command of deception, bluffing, and scheming. By exploiting the misunderstandings and hubris of others, he will defy fate and become one of the strongest beings in this new world. The path to power is paved not with purity, but with pragmatism. On Names and Culture While the world of this novel is entirely fictional—a realm of unique cultivation, ancient techniques, and cosmic conflicts—you will find that the characters, such as Tian Shen Ji, bear names inspired by the Chinese language. I want to be clear that I am not Chinese, nor am I an expert in Chinese culture or language. I chose these names because I personally enjoy the atmosphere they create and feel they are essential to the webnovel cultivation genre. I have done my best to select appropriate characters and tones. However, if you are a native speaker and feel a name is improperly written or awkward, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please know that your input is deeply valued and welcomed. A Personal Note I also wish to mention that I am dyslexic. I write this story purely out of passion, and while I dedicate significant time to editing, some spelling or grammatical errors may slip through. I appreciate your patience and understanding as you dive into the story.

Chapter 1 - The end yet also not the end

"Hey man, what are you doing here alone?" asked a young man in his late twenties or early thirties not so tall yet not short either, a little slender but in general quite handsome.

"Waiting my death! What other thing do you think I am doing." Replied another man who should have been at most in his late thirties with quite the handsome face as well, but it seems he wasn't in the best shape.

"I... I-is it already here, the time…? Said the young man with now a little tremble in his voice.

"Yes, the six months limit is in two days."

"But is it really untreatable?" said the young man, not seeming to understand why his friend, despite not being old, must wither without being able to help.

"Of course not! Do you think with our technology those greedy pigs would not create a treatment to a disease that can kill them as well?" Said the sick man, looking at the other like he was a fool.

"Then why they do not make it public?" asked the young man even more confused by the answer.

"Because by doing so would affect their money and the power of control that they have over us, and that is something inconceivable for them, after all this world like any other is ruled by power and money, and those two can become one of the most addictive things, the more you have of them, the more obsessed you became with them."

After all that speech it was a moment of silence, but it was ended with a soft sigh from the young man.

"Hhhhh, maybe you are right, then do you want me to do something after you pass away?"

"Yes!"

"Really, what it is?" asked with some amazement the young man, after all his friend has never ask him for anything even in his most difficult days, and now he was actually curious what kind of arduous task would his friend give to do.

"I want you to tell her that, I am sorry and that she was right, that I should have done more even if that meant stepping on my own blood. Maybe with my father wealth and my mind I would have taken the family wealth to new heights, and still be together with her."

"Who knows with that kind of wealth and power, I could even threat this shty disease." the discussion seemed to go out of track, but the young man didn't seem to mind that, it just listened to what his friend had to say, but that would not be long as the sick man seemed to notice as well, and with a straight face it immediately ended the discussion.

With his mouth slightly twitching, the young man said, "Ok I tell her, but it took you long enough to apologise."

Yet with the same straight face, the sick man spoke, "Yes, almost twelve years, if I would have lived two months more."

"You're taking like you dying tomorrow" said the young man slightly annoyed by his friend pessimistic view.

"Because I am dying moron!"

"I am not a moron!"

"Yes, you are, anyway I let my car with you" said the sick man with is unchanged face.

With some surprise the young man said, "you let your baby with me?"

"Do you think I like the idea?" asked the sick man slightly annoyed this time.

"Ha-ha-ha, you're the same even in death." laughed the young man with some tears in his eyes.

"What do you mean?" asked with a frown the sick man.

"Nothing, anything else do you wish?"

"Yes, I have already talked with my lawyer about the car, and the money in my bank account and after you retrieve the money for my funeral you can go and donate the rest to some charity organization."

"Do you want somewhere specific like for research of uncurable disease?" said the young man with a slightly smile on his face.

"You seem to be in the mood of joking?" said the sick man giving a side eye to the young man. "And no! why would I donate my money on studies that have already been discover, just to waste on other studies.

"Ok, ok, then were after all is not a small amount, if I am not wrong is a couple of millions."

"I don't know, maybe a charity for children."

"Ok, do you want to go somewhere else?"

"No. I like it here, it wouldn't be bad to go in a place like this." Smirked a little the sick man.

"Ok man then I am going, see you tomorrow!"

"Ok..., Ahhh" signed softly the sick man.

Finally that moron is gone, I can enjoy the view with out being bothered.

"Mnnnn!" I seem to get a little sleepy. I think I can take a nap here.

THE NEXT DAY!

"Hello, who it is?"

"Yes! that's me, why is the police looking for me?"

"You have found an unknown body in the central park!"

"Where? is somehow beside a tree, next to the lake?"

"I see, I think I know who it is, I will be there in a couple minutes."

"Hhhhh, " with a soft sigh a young man takes his last farewell to his best friend. "Rest in peace my friend, rest in peace I will do my best to hold your last wish."
