"Do you want to explain what happened?"
Both Veronica and I asked this at the same time.
Then after a moment of silence, both of us suddenly started to laugh.
But in the end, Veronica still said, "You're going to have to explain what happened later."
I gave a simple nod before waiting for her to tell me what happened.
"I have no idea what happened either. We thought that it would be a normal fight, but they suddenly started showing those strange powers." Veronica said with a sigh in the end.
"Were you the one that they were targeting or…"
Yasmin glared at me when she heard this and it really seemed like she was about to explode if not for the fact that Veronica held her back.
After all, she could tell what I was implying.
Only this was only what she thought I was implying since I knew that it wasn't possible that she would have betrayed Veronica.
Veronica could tell that this wasn't what I was implying.
