Emma desired to finaly brake the silence .

"Mom " she croaked " I need you .. " Emma began to sob holding on to her mother . "Mama sh- …Olivia is gone. Mama she's gone , I'm struggling," Emma confessed, her voice carrying the weight of grief and pain . Her mother pushed her away in disbelief and discus slapping Emma's cold face .emma fell to the floor in shock as she stared up at her mother . " m- mama ? " she whispered .

Her mother looked down at Emma , she placed her hand on her hip and turned her back on Emma continuing to wash the plates from the night before . Emma got up and began to walk away , broken and in shock . "You always find a fucking way to ruin everything, Emma. Why must you bring shame to the family after everything I have done for you ", she shouted "First, you choose a lifestyle that's an embarrassment, and now this? I don't know how I'm supposed to explain this to anyone. You are not my daughter, you are a sin . " . Emma looked at her mother in disbelief "w..what? " her voice sounded tied and crocked , " oh Emma , don't you what me young lady . You know what you have done , and now because of your actions and childish behaviour you have caused a very serious accident today Emma! I am so ashamed right now , do you realise how bad this makes me look ? " Emma looked at her mother in disbelief, how could she say such words . How can she be thinking about her self right now ? " of all the people in this world , I really fought you were gona be a mother tonight and comfort me , yet all you care about is your reputation I - Emma's mother cut her off slapping her again around the face . " don't your dare argue with me young lady ! I am your mother and you will listen , if you don't then get out of my house you worthless piece of shit ,,! " Emma began to run out of the room and in to her bedroom crying , she felt so alone and aftraid ,the night was endless as she tossed and turned all throughout the night , memories and trauma spilling out of her continuously

The barrage of criticism from her mother intensified as the days passed. Emma, grappling with the loss of Olivia, became entangled in a web of negativity becoming depressed.

"Why can't you be normal, Emma? This wouldn't have happened if you weren't involved in all that... nonsense," her mother spat, disregarding the depth of Emma's pain.

Alone in her room, Emma continued to feel the weight of her isolation deepen. The grief over Olivia's death collided with her mother's disdain for her identity, creating a storm of emotions she couldn't weather alone. She tried everything to numb the pain , but nothing worked , she couldn't do anything but lay in bed and cry .

"I loved her, Mom. Can't you understand that?" Emma pleaded one night at dinner , seeking a glimmer of compassion and support she begged her mum for love and understanding , she fought all night as she begged and pleaded she her mothers help , she couldn't do this alone .But every time her mother's response was the same and callous. "Well, look where that love got you. A dead girlfriend, and you still refuse to conform. And admit your sins and shame your have brought on me " .

Emma eventually gave up , she tried to focus on studying and going to university to distract her mind from her pain . However

The relentless bullying from her peers added to Emma's anguish ,The whispers in the hallways, the laughter of everyone , the pointed stares – reminders of a love lost and a world that refused to understand.she couldn't go on like this she just had to find a way to stop this pain .

"Why can't they just leave me alone?" Emma muttered to herself, tears streaming down her face in the bathroom .

In an attempt to numb the pain, Emma turned to alcohol. The bottle became her refuge, a temporary escape from the harsh reality that awaited her outside the confines of her room.

"I can't face the world, Mom. Olivia is gone, and I don't know how to go on," Emma confessed, her voice cracking.

But her mother's response remained unchanged, dismissive and unsupportive. "Maybe if you had made better choices, you wouldn't be in this mess."

As the days blurred into a haze of sorrow and self-destructive coping mechanisms, Emma's spirit crumbled. The weight of depression settled upon her shoulders, a heavy shroud that seemed impossible to lift.

In the silence of her room, Emma clung to the memories of Olivia, desperately trying to find solace in a world that had become relentlessly cruel. The road to healing seemed distant, and Emma, trapped in a cycle of despair, struggled to see a way out.
