Diagon Alley...
The next morning dawned with a light breeze in Diagon Alley.
Leo, along with Bellatrix, Eileen, and Hagoromo Gitsune, made their way toward the Cauldron and Charm Apothecary.
Cauldron and Charm Apothecary...
The charming two-floor structure stood quiet, bathed in morning sunlight, until a sudden click and creak of the door revealed a familiar figure.
Click~ Creak~
"____"
"Miiime!"
Chirped Mr. Mime, beaming as it spotted Leo.
The ever-loyal Pokémon immediately ushered them in, practically bouncing with joy.
It rushed off to polish the counters and restock the shelves—
Already preparing the apothecary and pet shop for opening.
Leo stepped into the polished ground-floor potion shop and took a deep breath, pleased by how fresh the place smelled.
Potions, herbs, magical salves, and odd knick-knacks lined the shelves in perfect order—
Mr. Mime's obsessive cleanliness at work.
After a quick inspection, Leo walked toward the back and glanced upward, thoughtful.
"System,"
He said silently.
"Can we create a lodge or small inn above the shop? Like how you added the pet store before?"
The familiar chime responded in his mind.
[DING...]

Leo smirked and nodded.
Smirk~ Nod~
"That'll do. Make it discreet but luxurious."
[Construction accepted. Work will begin tonight. Mr. Mime will assist.]
The system added playfully.
As Leo returned to the front, Bellatrix was chatting with Eileen.
Hagoromo examined a strange jar of preserved moonlight mushrooms.
Leo clapped his hands once.
"Well, the lodge is happening. Five days from now, we'll have private rooms over our heads. Another step for the Apothecary to become a proper hotel, if needed."
Mr. Mime gave a proud thumbs-up.
"Mr. Mime!"
After ensuring everything in the Apothecary was running smoothly, Leo's expression turned serious.
He stepped closer to the counter, where shadows naturally gathered even in daylight.
With a calm but commanding tone, he called out:
"Valac."
"____"
For a moment, silence lingered—
Until a soft, chiming bell echoed faintly, as though tolling from some ancient, forgotten place.
Chime~
Shadows coiled tighter behind the counter.
Then, with graceful menace, Valac emerged—
Her dark form slipping from the veil like a wraith stepping into the mortal plane.
Her glowing eyes locked onto Leo's, waiting.
Leo narrowed his gaze.
"You already know what's coming. The prophecy. Voldemort will escape one day. When he does… I'll make sure he doesn't get another chance. For now, leave him be..."
Valac nodded slowly, her eerie presence acknowledging what they both understood: the future was already unravelling.
Nod~
"But today,"
Leo continued, his tone shifting to focus,
"I need something else from you."
He stepped around the counter and leaned in slightly.
"Go to the Muggle-side world. Find a large abandoned or ownerless property—something we can convert into a hotel. It must be secluded, yet accessible, and suitable for connection to this Apothecary through the Floo Network."
Valac gave no verbal response.
Instead, she tilted her head in eerie understanding.
Then, without warning, her body began to change.
The shadows peeled back as her monstrous form shimmered and twisted.
To Leo's surprise, her new appearance mirrored that of the nun who once stood against her in that infamous Muggle horror film—the brave woman who sealed her.
Her features were now strikingly human—
Beautiful, serene, and haunting.
She wore the guise of a holy woman corrupted into something darker, dressed now in a witch's refined travelling attire, like one might expect from a gothic noble.
Leo raised an eyebrow.
"Of all the forms…"
Valac smirked—
Subtly, unsettlingly—
Before turning and calmly walking toward the door.
"Here I have already won."
With the grace of a practised shopper, she opened it, letting the shop bell ding as she exited.
Chime~ Creak~
To any wizard on the street, she now appeared as just another charming woman, perhaps out to explore Diagon Alley.
But Leo knew better.
The Valac before him is someone who seems to have already won in her universe and took over the body of sister Irene, who possesses the eyes of Saint Lucy in the conjuring universe.
As the door closed behind her, Eileen glanced at Leo.
"You sure she won't terrify half of London?"
Leo chuckled.
Chuckle~
"She's always terrifying. But right now? She is a beautiful young woman. And that makes her even more dangerous."
Five Days passed...
Five days later, the Cauldron and Charm Apothecary had transformed into something entirely new floor.
Leo stood in the middle of the freshly constructed level, his eyes scanning the layout with quiet satisfaction.
At the centre, a polished reception desk stood, hinting at the professional atmosphere he wanted for the place.
To the right, a cosy dining area stretched out—
Perfect for customers to relax, eat, and enjoy magical cuisine.
At the far end, a sleek kitchen space awaited equipment and staff.
To the left, a long hallway branched off, lined with fifteen newly built rooms—
Each with clean walls, large windows, and charm-sealed doors waiting to welcome guests.
But… there was a problem.
Unlike before, when the system rewards instantly populated spaces with enchanted furnishings and fixtures, this time the construction came without furniture—
No beds, chairs, counters, or drapes.
It was just an empty shell of what would soon become a magical inn.
Leo sighed.
Sigh~
"Of course… since this wasn't a reward, I've got to furnish it myself."
Not wasting time, he turned to Bellatrix.
"I'm leaving the furniture shopping to you. Get what you think fits the style—sturdy, magical, charming."
Bellatrix gave him a quick nod, her eyes already glinting with enthusiasm.
Nod~
"Leave it to me."
An hour later, she returned—
This time, accompanied by a well-dressed wizard in forest green robes, rolling behind him an enchanted suitcase that floated with an elegant hum.
The wizard gave Leo a respectful nod.
Nod~
"Mr. Morningstar, as requested—top-quality furnishings from Thistlewood Enchantments & Carpentry. Everything is magically durable, fire-resistant, and charmed for comfort."
With a flick of his wand, the wizard unlatched the suitcase—
And from within it, like a portal to a warehouse, a stream of furniture began to float out:
Beds with carved headboards, velvet-covered chairs, floating chandeliers, enchanted wardrobes that sorted clothes automatically, and tables polished to mirror-like sheen.
"Space Expansion and Traceless spells. Don't worry—nothing illegal,"
He added with a wink.
Wink~
Leo, already lifting a large velvet couch with a Leviosa spell, began arranging the reception area with precision.
Bellatrix, ever the perfectionist when it came to aesthetics, followed behind adjusting the angles of mirrors, fluffing cushions, and ensuring colours matched.
The delivery wizard stood back and admired their teamwork.
"Efficient. I like it."
Once the last piece was levitated into place, Leo floated a small pouch of Galleons toward the wizard.
"Here. Fair pay for fast work."
The man accepted it with a slight bow.
"Pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Morningstar. If you ever expand again, you know where to find us."
As he left the shop, Leo and Bellatrix stood in the now fully furnished third floor—
The beginnings of a wizard-friendly inn above his potion shop.
"One more step closer,"
Leo muttered, looking around.
As the delivery wizard left.
Just then, Eileen stepped through the shop entrance, carrying two large enchanted sacks filled with kitchen utensils, cookware, and enchanted appliances.
"You lot finished arranging furniture already?"
She asked, her eyes darting around the furnished lobby and lounge area.
Leo chuckled.
Chuckle~
"Barely. You're just in time."
Without wasting a moment, Eileen made her way to the kitchen, where she began efficiently unpacking and arranging everything:
Self-stirring cauldrons, self-cleaning pans, a wand-reactive stove, floating spice racks, and shelves lined with ingredients.
In no time, the kitchen began to look like it had been running for years—
Thanks to her meticulous sense of order.
As the last of the silverware floated into a drawer, a soft ding echoed from the system interface screen on the front desk.
[DING...]
[New Services Activated: Room Rental - Food Service]
Neatly printed golden labels now adorned the enchanted floating menu board by the counter, clearly showing:
Room Rentals Available (15 Rooms)
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Served Daily
Special Wizarding Herbal Teas & Tonics
Bellatrix smirked, walking past Leo with a tray of cookies.
Smirk~
"It's starting to feel like a real establishment now."
Leo nodded. Then, with a focused breath, he opened his inventory screen and tapped the A–Z Travel Permit.
Flash~
With a flash, a golden parchment emerged into his palm—
It's a magical glow pulsating gently.
Engraved in fine silver lettering was:
"A–Z Travel Agency Permit: For Worldwalkers, Dreamweavers, and Those Who Seek Reunion Across Realms."
He held it in front of him.
The parchment shimmered with layered runes as the system spoke in his mind:
[Tear the Permit to initiate realm synchronisation. Requires target destination with established hotel, travel agency, or inn infrastructure.]
Leo didn't hesitate.
Tear~
He tore the parchment cleanly down the middle.
The paper burned in golden fire, and arcs of space magic spiralled upward like twisting dragons of light.
The energy spread through the entire inn level, and a glowing sigil formed under Leo's feet.
[Synchronising with registered locations...]
[Attempting synchronisation with: Hotel Transvalya...
✅ Success. Travel Gate Connected.
Attempting synchronisation with: Nurarihyon no Mago – Continental Hotel HQ...
✅ Success. Travel Gate Connected.]
Leo narrowed his eyes.
"Finally, it opened."
He said with a grin.
From the wall behind the reception desk, a ripple of golden energy spread out, forming a grand, ornate doorway—
The Travel Gates to the Hotel Transylvania world and Nurarihyon no Mago are connected to this shop.
Its arch was carved with moving runes and celestial patterns that shimmered faintly like stardust.
Bellatrix approached it, giving a low whistle.
"Now that looks like a gate worthy of your name."
Leo smiled slightly, eyes never leaving the swirling surface of the portal.
"Time to bring Mavis and Wakana home. But before that..."
As the golden portal shimmered open with a soft hum, Leo stepped forward, gently holding Eileen's and Bellatrix's hands.
The swirling energy around the doorway cast a warm glow on their faces.
The inside showed nothing—
Just a golden void of pure magical essence.
"Ready?"
Leo asked quietly.
Both women gave a nod, curiosity burning in their eyes.
Nod~
With a steady stride, Leo led them through the portal.
Behind them, Mr. Mime waved enthusiastically and returned to polishing the counter.
The kind Pokémon, widely respected by even the rowdiest of troublemakers in Knockturn Alley, would manage the shop with ease.
The trio emerged on the other side, stepping onto marble flooring polished like a mirror, within a grand circular hall illuminated by glowing chandeliers and enchanted flames dancing in sconces.
Before them stood the towering entrance of the Continental Hotel Headquarters—
A sleek, luxurious fortress of neutrality in the world of Yokai and humans alike.
Eileen blinked.
"This… is incredible. Is that obsidian woven into the walls?"
Bellatrix slowly took in the carved demonic sigils mixed with imperial Japanese calligraphy.
"No wonder you kept this place secret."
Leo gave a smirk.
Smirk~
"Welcome to the heart of my other empire."
Continental Hotel...
Manager's Office...
Meanwhile, inside the hotel's manager's office, a man paused in the middle of reviewing security scrolls.
Shin, a tall, composed figure in a black suit, suddenly froze.
"____"
His black eyes flickered blue, slit pupils flashing like a predator sensing its alpha.
A cold shiver ran through him—
Not of fear, but of reverence.
"He's here…"
Shin whispered.
With practised calm, he adjusted his tie and stepped out of the office, walking briskly through the corridors.
Just as he passed the front desk, he spotted Nene, a cheerful woman, an ex-Onmyoji with golden-brown hair tied into a loose bun.
"Nene,"
Shin said firmly.
"Lord Morningstar has arrived."
Nene's smile vanished.
She stood up at once, nodded, and reached for the communicator beside the desk.
"Code 0004,"
She said with crisp clarity into the receiver.
"Repeat. Lord Morningstar has arrived. Commence full protocol for reception."
Around the hotel, a ripple of magical energy activated the Welcome Sequence.
Banners with Leo's sigil unfurled across the high walls—
An eclipsed star surrounded by black flames.
Staff in formal robes and suits moved like clockwork, bowing toward the entrance and preparing the ceremonial welcome at high speed.
The great doors of the Continental opened wide, and from the shadows of the hallway,
Shin stepped forward, bowing with precise grace.
"Welcome back, Lord Morningstar,"
He said, kneeling briefly.
"The staff are ready. The Council has not yet been notified of your arrival—shall I delay the announcement?"
Leo gave a quiet nod.
Nod~
"Let's keep it quiet for now. I came to inspect, not to gather attention."
Eileen and Bellatrix exchanged glances as more staff gathered silently, their respect for Leo echoing clearly in their movements.
"____"
"____"
The weight of his authority in this world was unmistakable.
"Right this way, my lord,"
Shin gestured.
"Your suite is untouched. We've kept it just as you left it."
Leo glanced back at the now-closing golden portal behind them, thinking of the connection that now bound his two worlds.
"Everything is falling into place."
Leo has informed Shin he will be visiting Nurarihyon's house.
While ordered Nene to escort both Eileen and Bellatrix to their room.
As Leo stepped out of the Continental and walked toward the Nurarihyon Residence, the change in atmosphere was immediate.
Unlike the solemn and regal calm of the headquarters, this place was bustling with life, laughter, and the occasional bickering of rowdy Yokai.
The scent of roasted tea leaves, incense, and something delicious in the kitchen filled the air.
It was nostalgic.
From the roof tiles, a tiny Yokai leapt down with wild excitement—
Natto Kozo.
Upon seeing Leo, his eyes widened.
"It's Lord Morningstar! He's back!!"
He rushed inside like a bouncing dumpling, yelling,
"Lord Nurarihyon! Lord Leo is back! He's here!!"
Leo chuckled lightly as he watched the Yokai scramble in chaos.
Chuckle~
Just as Shin had informed earlier, only two months had passed in this world, but now, with the gate permanently stabilised, time had synchronised with the real world.
That meant no more desync between visits.
A good sign.
Moments later, the front gate slid open and Nurarihyon himself, dressed in his usual flowing robes with his pipe in hand, strolled out with a grand grin.
Grin~
"Oi oi oi… look what the wind blew in!"
Alongside him were Rikuo, Kurotabo, Aotabou, Kyuso, Kubinashi, Karasu's children, Kappa, and Tengu—
Each beaming with warm excitement and relief.
Leo smiled and bowed slightly.
"I'm back, old man."
They welcomed him with claps on the back, wide grins, and loud chatter.
Nurarihyon's Room...
Inside Nurarihyon's private chamber, the two sat across from each other as the elder poured warm tea into delicate ceramic cups.
The air was calm, heavy with nostalgia and something deeper—trust.
"You've been gone a while,"
Nurarihyon said with a knowing smile.
Leo didn't hesitate this time.
He told everything.
About his journey to another world, along with Wakana and Mavis, and how he recently connected their world.
But avoid anything about the system.
Nurarihyon's hands trembled for a second as he sipped the tea.
"So all this time you guys were in another world…"
"Yes,"
Leo said.
"And I wanted to surprise her. That's why I came here today—to invite you, Rikuo, and everyone who wishes to see her again."
A soft silence followed.
"____"
Outside the room, several Yokai who had been pretending to do chores or casually passing by were clearly pressed against the door and windows, eavesdropping with twitching ears and tails.
One of them whispered,
"Did you hear that?"
Another hissed,
"Shhh! Don't talk or we'll miss the rest!"
Even Rikuo, leaning against the hallway wall, had been listening intently, his heart racing.
He had waited so long for an update about his mother, but didn't want to interrupt.
But just as Leo raised his teacup to sip—
BANG!
The door exploded inward, crashing to the floor.
From the wreckage tumbled Rikuo, Aotabou, Kubinashi, Kurotabo, Kappa, and several other yokai, their eyes spinning like tops as they collapsed in a pile.
Leo blinked.
"____"
"____"
Nurarihyon sighed and rubbed his temple.
Sigh~
"You bunch of fools…"
"SORRY!!"
They chorused, quickly kneeling upright like misbehaving children.
But Rikuo immediately scrambled forward, eyes shining.
"Leo! Please let me come too! I want to see her! I want to see Mom!"
Leo stared at the boy for a moment… then smiled.
"Of course, Rikuo. I was going to bring you even if you didn't ask."
The entire room burst into cheers.
Kuro's children danced in circles, Kappa nearly tripped over his own webbed feet in excitement, and Nurarihyon's chuckle echoed through the walls.
Chuckle~
"Well then,"
Leo said, standing.
"Let's go make Wakana cry."
