THUD, THUD, THUD, THUD...
Almost simultaneously, four dull thuds echoed. Within a second, Lin Feng and Zhou Yang knocked out the four men in black suits blocking their path. They quickly retrieved two handguns from their opponents' waists and tucked them into their own waistbands.
By now, not just Lin Feng, but Zhou Yang too, had deduced that Chen Ming's office was on this floor.
Indeed, as Lin Feng and Zhou Yang pushed open the largest door in the hallway, they saw Chen Ming, dressed in a Tang suit, looking at them, his face a mask of bewilderment and a strange expression.
"You... Lin Feng…" Chen Ming's hand shot out nervously, fumbling in the drawer beneath his desk for a handgun. He raised it, pointing it at Lin Feng and Zhou Yang, and stammered in alarm, "What do you want?"
"What do we want?" Lin Feng showed no hint of nervousness, as if he hadn't even seen the gun in Chen Ming's hand. He simply chuckled coldly. "Didn't Master Chen send for me? Well, I'm here. Why so jumpy?"
