"Haha, hahaha... Brother, w-what happened to your face?"
When Basil Jaak and Bertha returned to Akagi's stone house, Basil had intended to brag gleefully about how the North Pole Barbarian Bear had been taken down.
However, as soon as Akagi saw him, he couldn't help but burst into laughter, bending forward and backward uncontrollably.
Basil turned to see Bertha as well, her face rosy as she covered her mouth, stifling a laugh.
He wiped his cheek, and as he pondered for a moment, he felt a slight pain on his face, suddenly realizing—damn it, Bertha must've hit him too hard, leaving a mark!
Basil hurriedly asked Akagi to bring him a basin of clean water. He bent down to look at his reflection in the water and frowned immediately—a red handprint on his left cheek, glaringly obvious.
"Bertha, your hand was way too heavy, wasn't it?"
Basil huffed angrily, straightened his body, and questioned Bertha.
