The reconstruction inside the Palace has fully begun. Cai Wei leads a group of people to collect the discarded wood for making coffins for the people because many died in the earthquake, and severely injured ones continue to die. The coffins in the city's shop have long sold out, prompting some people to simply run to Qixia Mountain to search for usable coffins.
Due to the earthquake, Qixia Mountain is now unrecognizable. Many coffins were exposed in the aftermath; coffins of those with relatives have been timely buried and repaired, while the cemeteries of those without relatives are glaringly exposed, left to the element's mercy.
On Qixia Mountain, there are decayed corpses, white bones, and broken coffins everywhere.
