Exhausted, Ji Shang finally stopped and plopped down in front of Xiaosuisui.
"Phew... I'm exhausted! Hey! Tell me, little baby, are there really no senior experts here, huh?"
Xiaosuisui pouted and rose to her feet in a huff, her hands placed defiantly on her hips. Angrily, she stared at her overwhelmed maternal grandfather, puffing out an indignant rebuke.
"I told you, I'm not a little baby!"
The little girl, with her soft, childish voice, trying to be fierce, pouting her lips, looked adorably ferocious, like a little monster about to eat someone!
Seeing her adorably fierce little display, Ji Shang found this little baby utterly captivating, and his heart melted instantly.
"Come, come! Little baby, tell me, what's your name? Whose child are you?"
Ji Shang scooped Xiaosuisui into his arms, his heart filled with an encompassing warmth.
Xiaosuisui pouted and turned her head away in annoyance.
