Meanwhile, after the humans problem was solved, Professor X focused on locating the massive energy signature, and he was able to find it, and he was even able to connect the communication through the telepathy, but it was allowed by the Beyonder himself.
"Who are you?" Professor X asked Beyonder through the telepathic link.
"I am from Beyond, and I am learning how to feel like a human," Beyonder replied.
Professor X thought for some time, he hesitated first but still ordered Beyonder to leave the Earth.
"Why?" Beyonder asked. So he tried to make the Beyonder understand that his very existence was an upset to the natural order of things, explained his origin to him, and requested that he abandon the Universe, at once.
"But I'm part of the universe's natural order. The universe created me just as it created you," Beyonder gave his reason. Professor X tried more, but Beyonder cut the telepathic communication.
"X-Men, the Beyonder... He… He's somewhere in the western United States! Moira, you must take these students to Westchester at once! Rendezvous with the X-Men and Magneto there! hurry!" Charles commands his X-Men, he continued, "I'll try to reach others who will understand and help!"
"No! You mustn't use your telepathic powers! Remember your injury, man!" Jean tried to calm him, since he was recently injured in an accident.
"Are we going to America to fight... the Beyonder? But who's the Beyonder?" Rachel asked.
"I've got to reach.. whomever I can... uhhh!" Charles explained to them about Beyonder, as continuously trying to reach the others.
"Charles please... you're not up to this strain!" Storm also tried to calm him down, but still he didn't hear them, and used his powers, but he fainted, while the X-Men went on their mission to search for the Beyonder.
"But if this Beyonder guy could be anywhere in the western United States, I'll never be able to locate him!" Magneto said, X-Men has located Magneto and now they are going together. Magneto has used his powers to fly the car, so they quickly found the Beyonder.
"Keep trying, Rachel! Xavier sensed his presence from half a world away! So you can sense him easily, since we are nears him," Magneto informed Rachel.
"Yes, I am trying," Rachel replied, then suddenly, she felt, "Wait, I sense… A presence! Enormous power-!"
"Where, child?"
"It's... in the air! Nearly high.. straight ahead… Moving quickly ..away from us!" Rachel found it, and the X-Men went towards her pointed location.
But even after reaching the location, they were still not able to find the Beyonder. Everyone's eyes were working to find any person who looked different.
"I'm having trouble sensing anything! Something is causing some kind of psionic interference!" Rachel replied, as she continuously focused on sensing the Beyonder.
"This is... weird! I feel... an incredibly awesomely powerful presence! No wonder psionic transmissions are being disrupted! It's right... here!" Rachel said as she collided with a person.
"Rachel, who's that?" Magneto asked her.
"Where'd he come from?" Bobby asked.
"He has been here all along but in some kind of invisible energy form! When he realized that I knew he was here he manifested in physical form! I think he's the Beyonder!" Rachel explained.
"Why is he looking at Magik that way?" Kitty asked.
"It's as though he's seeing through me, or right into my soul!" Illyana replied, but before they did anything more, Beyonder caught Illyana.
"Hey! What are you doing to me?" Illyana asked, Beyonder did not reply to her, while his hand passed inside her body.
Reaching inside to the core of Illyana rasputin's Beyonder draws forth the demonic essence which she has always kept hidden and fought with all of her strength to deny, but which is clearly apparent to him! Helpless to resist. Illyana becomes the Darkchilde!
On the brink of madness, awash with utter horror, Illyana does the only thing she can do! She flees! Summoning a stepping disk, one of the Magik at her command, she crosses into a Limbo place beyond time and space, taking all nearby with her!
"Beyonder! What have you done with us, scum! Answer me!" Wolverine shouted as he ran towards Beyonder. But they appear in different places all together, causing Wolverine to hit Magneto instead of the Beyonder.
"Wolverine! What are you doing? Wait!" Magneto shouted, as using his power he threw back the Wolverine.
"She's still dazed! She isn't thinking clearly! She's teleporting us away!" Lila explained to Wolverine, as everyone was looking towards Illyana, who is now standing in Darkchilde form.
As mistress of Limbo, Darkchilde's emotional state was reflected in the environment, and her shock at having her soul exposed in front of friends and family meant that Limbo itself tried to attack her friends.
Cannonball, Dazzler, Rachel Summers Shadowcat fought to survive against the landscape of Limbo.
Darkchilde summoned her Soulsword which was crackling with pure black energy instead of white. Shadowcat snatched it from her and gained Darkchilde's Eldritch Armor in the process.
Slicing the Soulsword down it's mistress caused Darkchilde great pain, but ultimately caused her to revert her back to her normal self. Shadowcat was concerned of the effect on Magik's soul, and also for her own.
After they calmed down and changed clothes Magik teleported them back to Los Angeles. Then again Rachel was meditating as she tried to focus on the Beyonder's presence.
Cannonball and Magik discussed the reasons why the Beyonder had appeared on Earth, but Rachel announced she was no longer able to detect him. But they are suddenly visited by the Beyonder.
"Hello Illyana," Beyonder said as he appeared in front of them.
"I know that voice!" Illyana replied.
"I'm glad you remember me. I've been hoping we'd meet again," Beyonder said, as he appeared in front of the New Mutants.
"Then this looks like your lucky day.. BEYONDER," Illyana shouted, as she brought out Soulsword to threaten him.
"I bring you joy... the dawn of a new age, why you threatened me," Beyonder replied.
"I'm not interested," Illyana replied and attacked him. Like Kitty, Illyana Rasputin mutated her specific talent, the ability to move through both space and time. However, she is also a sorceress, absolute ruler of an extra dimensional magical domain she calls Limbo.
And her Soulsword, the ultimate expression of her arcane might, is able to disrupt any magical spell or entity. Unfortunately, the Beyonder is neither.
"Nothing happened?" Illyana gasped, looking at the Beyonder had easily caught her Soulsword.
"Why do you wish me harm when I seek to do you only good?" Beyonder asked her with a puzzled expression.
"I thought only Kitty and I could hold my sword!" Illyana said,
"I am beyond such rules that didn't apply to me," Beyonder replied as he again went to awaken the Darkchilde inside her.
"No? Again with a lousy wave of his hand he's manifested my dark soul self, for everyone to see," Illyana shouted as she was again going to transform into Darkchilde.
"This part of your being… You call evil and you fear it," Beyonder replied, but before he completely awakened the Darkchilde, Rachel telekinetically yanked her out of the Beyonder's way, and she nervously reached into the Beyonder's mind.
Their two minds connected and became one, she sensed his curiosity and desire to seek more information.
Both Rachel and the Beyonder became consumed in a burning light, which was broken by Cannonball who blasted them all towards the mansion. Beyonder left from there, while Rachel was still adjusting all over the information she gained just by peeking inside Beyonder's mind.
Ben was observing everything from, he was waiting for the time, when Beyonder did any wrong thing so he will take action on him. But he hopes, Beyonder learns from the mistake and doesn't do anything wrong.
He was also waiting for the Living Tribunal information about the Beyonder. The Living Tribunal had found the Beyonder power is linked to Molecule Man, but he was searching for complete information on how to kill him.
