Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: A Successful Enterprise

A few weeks after their first meeting, the atmosphere in Michael Holt's office was radically different. Smartphone blueprints now sprawled across large wall screens, and a stack of freshly signed legal documents rested on the desk. The deal was sealed.

"I have to admit, Kane," Holt stated, adjusting his glasses, "your business acumen is as sharp as your imagination. These technical specifications you provided... it's as if you've already seen this device working."

Marcus smiled vaguely, deflecting the compliment with grace. "Sometimes you have to know how to look beyond what exists, Holt. Now, let's talk about another project. The variable-gravity training room for the Watchtower."

Holt nodded, switching gears naturally from one file to another. "I've reviewed your schematics. The concept is solid. A chamber where gravity and air density can be modulated to simulate various extreme conditions. The memory-shape alloys and force field generators required are complex, but well within Holt Industries' capabilities. Batman has already approved the security protocols."

"Perfect," Marcus replied. "I want this room to be a major asset for the League. A place where we can truly push our limits."

Their attention then returned to the commercial project.

"Regarding the product," Holt continued, adopting a more marketing-oriented tone. "We need a name. Something catchy, elegant, that evokes both intelligence and connectivity."

"I've thought about it," said Marcus. "What if we simply call it the 'iPhone'? The 'i' for individual, intuition, innovation, information... It's simple, memorable, and universal."

Holt tasted the word. "iPhone... Yes. It's short, impactful. It works. I'll handle the trademark filing."

He slid a document towards Marcus. "Here is the launch plan. We'll first target a premium market to establish the brand as a symbol of status and quality. Then, we'll develop a more accessible range. The advertising will emphasize design, ease of use, and the app revolution. We'll launch a massive campaign: television, newspapers, billboards... Holt Industries has the resources to saturate the market."

Marcus listened, impressed by the well-oiled machine that was Holt Industries. He had the idea, but Holt had the apparatus to turn it into a global phenomenon.

"I trust you with the marketing, Holt. You're the professional. My role was to provide the spark. Yours is to turn it into a wildfire."

Holt allowed a smile. "It's a partnership, Kane. Your vision, my execution. Together, we will not only create a thriving business but also literally change the way the world communicates. And, incidentally, equip the Watchtower with a godlike training facility. Not bad for a start."

As the Metropolis sun began to set, the two men—one a genius of business and technology, the other a hero and a visionary—planned the future. A company was born, and with it, the beginnings of a technological revolution that would touch every human on the planet.
