Chapter 102 - Chapter 101: Desperate Rush Against Time, Part ????

664 10/11 3:07 (Autumn, Day, Midrar)

Joule-Mark acculumated Vital Mana around their only remaining flesh and blood arm, their constructed limb flickering slightly because of the sudden absence of the materials composing it, Shining Bolts collapsing and condensing around their left hand before erupting in a piercing beam towards the Lunarian's chest.

As the long line of Light-Attribute violently crossed the distance towards the black-clad one, it split into various lances that moved around the Lunarian, trying to impale her from all sides with rays of light to dodge any possibility of her using Hollow Jewels to properly defend against their attack.

Yet Luna merely smiled, beating her wings once and launching a rain of colorfull feathers that flew down to impale the ground, allowing their Light-Attribute to impale her in place, her grin remaining fixed in place despite the light spears that impaled her all over her body, the most deadly of them being the one currently piercing her through one of her eye and in the back of her head yet this was far from the only spear made of Shining Bolts in her body.

Spears impaled her body, in her left kneecap, her right foreleg and upper leg, through her stomach, in both of her shoulders and palms, in her neck and at least three in each of her new limbs, remaining stuck inside of her body and in this way assuring she would not be able to regenerate her wounds with their spears in the way blocking the way.

Yet, upon seeing the way her smile widened and her eyes were shining, they couldn't help but feel as if they had fallen in a trap because of her expression.

Feeling that they became certain of once they saw the miniaturized black hole tremble and expand, starting to attract everything around it into itself thanks to its rapidly increasing gravity including the otherwise immobilized Lunarian and the spears of Shining Bolts imbued in her flesh.

Glowing blue eyes widened in alarm as they dispelled their spears, being however too late to recall their Shining Bolts to themselves, the black hole's gravity having already pulled Luna and the Light-Attribute sparks deep inside of itself, sealing them both in a space-time singularity beyond their reach, their Senses unable to either breach its spherical surface or unable to leave once inside its boundary.

All the same, thanks to the combination of the knowledge gained from both Mark's previous life and the various Timelines he traveled and Joule's natural understanding of the laws concerning electricity in general and the Lightning-Attribute more specifically, they were able to guess what exactly would happen inside of the black star, Luna, their own lost arm and their Shining Bolts being ripped apart and joined back together continuously.

As the Human-Spirit Hybrid analyzed the perfect sphere floating in mid-air, they were able to feel only dismay upon seeing projectiles of Purification-Infused water raining down upon and subsequently being absorbed by the black, glass-like liquid, before Flux stopped upon recognizing that they couldn't identify whether their blows had any effect on the Lunarian and worried that they would help her understanding of the various Attributes involved more.

Having seen such phenomena, both Flux and Joule-Mark gave up on attacking it directly and instead decided on preparing for once Luna would emerge from her cocoon.

Or at least that was their initial plan but there was no chance that Luna would leave them that free.

The feathers that the white haired one had fired at the same time as their own Shining Bolt Lances, the same feathers that even now were stabbed into the ground in a large range all around the plane started to vibrate, rising upwards to form spears aiming at the sky above.

Yet this was not a threat in on itself as Flux was safely far enough away from them while the Human-Spirits Hybrid proved more than agile enough to just dodge them, the spears purpose now clear to their sight as they started to spread, more Black Blood being pulled from her shadow to the physical World so that they could rapidly grow and form a large circle that trembled and flowed gently.

Joule-Mark landed safely outside of the circle, having jumped away upon seeing the instability present upon its surface, fearfull of this leading straight inside the singularity yet finding themselves incorrect as the layer before them was not to let something in but to let something out.

The surface rippled forward, erupting in a great wave as something massive broke the surface, purple and gold flames raining down upon the surrounding area as an immense golden bird balefully looked down upon them with burning purple eyes as what they recognized as Amber prepared to attack.

A little before Luna entered in her own singularity, she contacted her Mates silently.

'I figured out how to bring you all to my side. Are you ready?' her telepatic voice sounded out through their Marks, Amber being the first one to respond as she was the only one fully aware of what was happening, the other two being dragged away from their distraction to refocus.

'Give us a couple of seconds longer and we will be ready. How can we reach you?' The winged one stopped in mid-air, her wings beating a couple of times more to gently arrest her momentum in place, giving enough time for her two Mates to fully prepare themselves for the fight.

'When you three are ready, throw that mass of Black Blood at the ground, I will transfer enough Black Blood to it so that it could expand enough for you to fly through and reach me. Using the C-Rank Skill and our Mark, I will let you travel through my body and exit in my rough location.' The Lunarian's calm voice sounded out, speaking as casually as if she was taking about nothing important or even complex at all, causing Sabel to just sigh.

'I can feel my point of view shifting further and further away from the rest of humanity…' The swordwoman lamented, the amused exasperation contained within her words clear for all of them to see before continuing on in curiosity. 'How exactly are you doing to move us? This mass only purpose was to store a lot of Black Blood in advance so that we could throw it upon arriving, flooding the place in your blood.'

"If this alone is enough to shatter your understanding of the World, it was quite the brittle one in the first place." Mafel voiced aloud, taking advantage of her much greater height to stand up straight and look down on her Human Mate, her lips rising with a mocking edge. "You just need to remember how exactly we recieved our Marks to begin with. Luna pulled our Souls out of our bodies to begin with, Linked us together and then rejoined them both. She even told us that if we were to die, our Souls would go to her. It should be obvious the way she intends on bringing us to her."

If the Elf had her eyes opened, she would be able to see the face that Sabel made upon seeing her smug expression and the way that her ears were twitching, but unfortunately for her, she was too distracted, forgoing any chance of stopping the black-haired one.

The chronologically youngest one did not hesitate and, upon seeing the taller one standing tall, simply took advantage of her being sat down to sweep her legs out from under her, causing her to fall down and sitting on her back, forcefully maintaining her underneath her. "I must need to remind you that the reason you could punish me is because I did not use physical force to stop you." Her black eyes narrowed, half-seriously.

Mafel uselessly tried to free herself, her pale arms being held at the wrist above her head by the tanned hands belonging to her Mate, gulping quickly. "Now, see, I understand that you are mad but now is no time for you to… take your revenge, right, we are way too busy and Luna needs our help." She hurriedly said, her voice rising.

"You are lucky you are right. You will be spared for now. For now!" Sabel looked down at her, letting go of her wrist and turning towards Amber's head, taking advantage of her much greater physical strenght to keep the Elf stuck beneath her body, taking out from her own Ring the cubic mass of Black Blood gifted her from the Lunarian, holding it steadily. "You ready?" She confirmed aloud and, upon feeling the assent from her Mates, she threw the cube to the ground underneath them, distorting slightly because of the speed of the throw.

Upon landing on the ground, the cube shattered, releasing a wave of Black Blood that started writhing chaotically, forming a large circle, more than large enough for Amber to dive in even while in her original form as a Phoenix, thing that the Demon-blooded one did not hesitate on doing, their forms passing through the threshold of the divide, the Black Blood soon vanishing once all three finished their passage, leaving behind only the damage the acidic blood caused the ground.

Inside was a world of liquid darkness, gently enveloping them in a tranquil serenity that almost lulled them to sleep, their bodies and Souls being painlessly separated for a brief moment before being recombined together again, their location moved to the pool of Black Blood near Luna as the blood gently pressed against their body to show them the direction to the exit.

Amber swam with the current, soon finding herself pressing against a thin membrane that separated the three of them from the outside world.

Membrane that with an effort of her will alone she was able to surpass, breaching the confines of space and emerging safely with her two passengers in the real world, a rain of Cursed and Blessed Flames raining down upon everything nearby, carefull to send some of each to the vibrant orb currently holding her white-haired, red-eyed Mate while staying away from her other two Mates, their own forms hidden within her bright mane.

All the while her eyes now focused on the scowling face of the Human enveloped in Shining Bolts and the hidden Spirit of Flows glowing with Holy- and Light-Attribute together.

The next phase of this mad rush against time beginning with their arrival.
