Qin Yin was startled and hurriedly wrapped her arms around his neck, just like she always did before.
She stared blankly at his profile; his skin wasn't as it once was, but he remained as handsome as ever.
He steadily carried her inside, walked into the bedroom, placed her on the bed, and turned to ask her, "Want some water?"
Qin Yin didn't respond, only silently watched him.
"Hmm?" Nan Sichen raised an eyebrow and asked again in a low, sexy tone.
Qin Yin quickly lowered her head, shook it, "No, thanks."
Nan Sichen smiled at her, "Just now, you looked like you were infatuated."
Qin Yin: "..."
Her face suddenly turned crimson; she lowered her eyes, bit her lower lip, then lifted her head to ask, "Nan Sichen, why are you so nice to me?"
"Because you are my wife."
He handed a box to Qin Yin, "For you."
Qin Yin reached out to take the box, but her gaze didn't fall on it; she just looked at Nan Sichen, somewhat excited.
"You used to say the same thing."
