Yu cheng :"What's going on here!!, Mr Lu what happened why are you standing at the entrence come inside".

Ji suho :" Mr Yu its that a women causing problem that Mr Lu can't enter the mansion".

Yu cheng :"Who have the guts to stop Mr Lu "After saying this he turned to look at the girl who is like a princess. When he saw her he felt like he knew this girl and similar to someone he knew. He immediately understood who it is, the princess of Gu family, she is like a queen in Gu family.

When he got to know it is Gu Soojin he really got angry at Suho :"Who the hell are you to say she is the one who cause trouble, she is also one of my honorable guest".

Ji Suho :"Mr Yu how can she be a honorable guest she is a person who only know to climb up high through dirty means."

Yu cheng :"who the hell are you. Get out this instant"

Lin soha :" How can that be,Mr yu don't be decived by her "

Mr Yu :" Do yo know who she is, she is the dau... "At that time Soojin shakes her head indicate not to disclose her identity. "She is like my daughter she have every right if not you being polite please feel free to get out"

Ji Suho's chest tightened as Mr. Yu's sharp words echoed in his mind. He had been scolded , for the way he speak about thinking about Gu Soojin, and the words cut deeper than he wanted to admit.

He made a decision—he wouldn't confront Gu Soojin, not yet. Not here.

Not now. With a calm he didn't fully feel, he gathered his mother, his sister, and Lin Soha. "We'll discuss this after the party," he said quietly, leading them away. There was no room for debate now, only a delay.

Meanwhile, Gu Soojin followed Lu Seojeon through a maze of quiet corridors, her curiosity piqued. They arrived at a secluded room, the one Mr. Yu—Yu Chen—had shown Seojeon earlier. The air was thick with anticipation.

The party was in full swing, the hall glittering with lights and the murmur of high-profile guests filling the air. But for Gu Soojin, it all felt distant, like she was watching from behind a veil. Her thoughts were elsewhere—on Ji Suho, on the past, on everything she had endured.

Lu Seojeon noticed the fatigue in her eyes. Without drawing attention, he approached her, carrying a small tray. "You need to eat something," he said quietly, placing a cup of tea and some carefully prepared snacks before her.

Gu Soojin blinked in surprise. "Here? At the party?"

Seojeon shrugged lightly, his expression calm but firm. "Yes. You shouldn't have to go hungry while everyone else is distracted by celebrations. Take care of yourself first."

Touched by the simple gesture, she accepted the food. As she nibbled quietly, the warmth of the tea spreading through her, she felt a rare sense of comfort amidst the chaos around her.

For a brief moment, the world outside—the judgment, the whispers, even Ji Suho's absence—seemed to fade.

When the party ended, Seojeon walked her home, keeping a discreet distance yet always close enough to ensure she was safe. The city lights reflected in her eyes as she glanced at him. "Thank you," she said softly, almost to herself.

Seojeon offered a small, knowing smile. "Rest now. Tomorrow is another day, and you'll need your strength."

Gu Soojin nodded, feeling the quiet reassurance in his words. Though the night had been long and full of tension, Seojeon's care reminded her that she wasn't entirely alone.
