Cherreads

Chapter 13 - 13

Meeting Mero

"Yamato." Smith lies down on top of me, where Miia is already lying. "How many times did you shoot inside me?"

"Four, I think." I wrap my left arm around her, my right around Miia. My right leg is wrapped in Miia's tail. My left side is covered by Smith.

Cerea lies on the foot of the bed, customized specially to hold her body and her weight. Her head is on my diaphragm, her finger drawing a pattern on my abs. Smith's hand lies on her scalp, Miia's hand just above her head.

"Damn," Smith says. "If you impregnate me, will you take responsibility?"

"I will." I inhale with a smile. "I think I did it a total of ten times in the bath. Four times with you and Miia, twice with Cerea."

Cerea digs her face in my abdomen out of embarrassment.

"You did it thrice with her in her room too, Darling," says Miia.

"I know, I know, Miia, my love." I pat Miia's head.

She smiles under my patting hand.

"Oh." Smith gets up. "I'm getting a call."

She picks up her phone. "Hai?"

A female voice speaks on the other side.

"Nani!" Smith gets off the bed. "I'll be there right now!"

She tries to put her feet through her thong and ends up falling on the bed.

"Girls," I say. "Help Smith."

Miia helps Smith dress up. Clipping her bra, adjusting her thong, buttoning her shirt, pulling on her pantyhose. During that time, Smith talks on the phone

"I'm leaving…"

Before Smith can leave the room, I plant my lips on hers. She stops and melts into the kiss.

"I'll see you soon," I whisper to her.

She smiles, rubs my nose with hers and leaves.

"I'll close the…" I turn around and Miia and Cerea sleeping, their arms around each other, Cerea's head on Miia's shoulder. With a smile, I shut up.

Jogging down the street, I change the song from "I'm the bomb" to "Now that we're dead". My eyes fall on a girl with pink hair, sitting in a wheelchair. She is by a pole. The street is sloppy and I think she cannot go down.

"Miss." I come up to her, pausing the song. "You need some help?"

"Oh, dear Sir!" She turns her face to me, making my heart skip a beat. Her beauty is out of a fairy tale.

"I cannot go down the street like this." Her voice brings me back to reality. "Can you please help me, dear Sir?"

Her manner of speaking dazzles me. Her aura is of royalty and I feel like a plebian.

"Sure thing." I smile.

Together, we start down the street, my hands gripping the wheelchair from behind, our pace calm.

"You live around here?" I ask her as we go down.

"Not really." She shakes her head with a smile. "I'm just visiting."

"Oh, I see."

Before I can speak further, a blast of air from a passing truck makes me lose my grip on the wheelchair.

"Kyah!" I hear her scream as the wheelchair rushes forth.

As I run after her, I realize I haven't even asked her name yet.

I catch up to her just in time before she collapses into a telephone pole, grabbing her wheelchair, my feet skidding on the pavement. Her speed drops but she doesn't stop.

The momentum is too great.

I jump in front of her, between the pole and the wheelchair.

"Ah!" I rub the back of my head. "That wasn't pleasant."

"Ah!" I hear her moan.

From where her legs were supposed to be, a tail comes out. It is scaly, just like Miia's, but there is a fin at the tip. That means she is…

"Are you a fish-type extra-species?"

"Yes, dear Sir."

"Are you a mermaid, uh…"

"Meroune." She smiles. "But you can call me Mero, um…"

"Yamato."

"Yamato." Her smile widens. "Yes, I am a mermaid."

"Oh, I see." I get up and wince.

"Are you all right, dear Sir?" She asks me, concern dancing in her eyes, hands clasping each other.

"Yes, I'll be fine." I grin. "I go through this every day."

I remember Miia's constricting and Cerea's kicking.

"Really?" She cocks her head to one side.

"Sure." I chuckle.

Mera glances behind me and her expression turns into one of fear.

At that time, I get a call. Confused about what she saw, I pick the call up while turning around.

"Darling," Smith speaks on the other side. "Where are you?"

"Well, I…" I try to look around.

Mero grabs my hand and pulls me to her. I become unable to speak because of Mero's lips on mine.

"Darling?" Smith continues speaking. "Darling!"

I make a weak attempt to break the kiss, but Mero is relentless. As is my newfound desire for her. She holds my arm in both of her hands. I cut the call and slide the phone into my pocket within moments.

With my hand, I touch her breast before groping her. I don't know why I have gotten so bold.

She moans into the kiss. My hand crawls under her shirt. Her bra slips away, allowing me to touch her nipple.

"Oh, dear Sir!" She moans. "You're too fast."

"So." I hear Smith's voice behind me, making me jump. "The two people I was looking for are together, and more together than I would have liked."

"Why are you looking for her?" I stand up straight in front of Smith and the three men standing behind her, dressed similarly in black.

Scared, Mero grabs my hand. I hold it tight, saying with silence, 'Don't be scared. I'm here.'

She looks at me and smiles. I smile back at her.

"Did she do something wrong?" I look back at Smith.

"You think someone so well-mannered can do something wrong." Smith juts her lips out in mockery. "Don't make me laugh, Darling."

I frown. "Why are you looking for her, then?"

"She ran away as a result of a misunderstanding."

"Misunderstanding?" Mero says, clutching my hand tighter.

"Yes." Smith adjusts her glasses. "We were going to send you to your host family, not deport you."

"Really?" Mero's features of fear turn to those of happiness.

"Yeah. But now, we're not going to."

"Why!" I say before Mero can speak.

"Because." Smith grins. "Her host has already found her."

"You mean…" I pause, point with my finger to myself.

"Yep." Smith's grin widens. "Yamato, you're her new host family."

"Oh."

"Dear Sir!" Mero looks at me with wide, glimmering eyes. "I cannot tell you how happy I am!"

"I'm happy too, Mero." I lean down and kiss her cheek.

When I stand straight, Mero is blushing.

"Get a room, you two," Smith says, more annoyed than one expects from a professional. "Go home, Darling, there'll…"

My phone rings again.

"Yeah?"

"Darling!" Miia screams on the other side. "Come home, there's, there's…"

"Miia?" I grab Mero's wheelchair from the back and start running up the sloping street. "What's wrong?"

"There're people in the house," Miia says in a teary voice. "They're breaking the house apart."

"What! I'll be there soon. Be strong, both of you."

"Whoever were you talking to, Dear Sir?" Mero asks me, concerned.

"They're part of your new family. There's Miia, a lamia, and Cerea, a Centaur."

"Are they both, um, your lovers?" Mero fidgets.

"Huh? Uh, well…" I blush. "They are."

"Oh!" Mero looks up, hands clasped over her breast. "What pain!"

"Mero?" I put one hand over her shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, Dear Sir." She looks down, her voice low. "Never mind poor Mero."

We get home. Miia and Cerea are standing outside on the lawn, watching the throng of laborers walk in and out of the house, carrying bricks, sacks of cement, wooden beams, stuff like that. Sounds of construction drill into our ears.

"What's going on here?" I ask walking, Mero in front of me.

"Darling!" Miia turns to me, a river of tears flowing from her eyes. Seeing Mero, her features alter. "Who's that?"

"That's Mero." Smith's voice behind me makes me jump. How does she hide her presence? "She's a new family member."

"Smith" My head shoots to her.

"New?" Miia cocks her head to the side.

"Family member?" Cerea places a finger on her chin, looking up. "Oh, you mean…"

"She's a new love rival!" Cerea and Miia say together.

"Whatever does that mean, Dear Sir?" Mero glances at me over her shoulder.

"Oh, looks like the construction is done," Smith says. "Darling, sign these papers."

A man in overalls and an orange construction helmet smiles at me, holding a stack of papers.

"Ah, great. Miia, take Mero in."

"I'll wait for you inside." Smith touches my shoulder as she walks in, Miia, Mero and Cerea in tow.
