"They're so good together. They should just kiss already," Michelle swooned, holding the phone to her chest like a romantic movie was playing out before her eyes.
Ashley felt a headache forming. She pinched the bridge of her nose and let out a slow exhale. "I'm going to bed now," she said coldly, turning away.
"Wait!" Michelle said, trailing after her. "You didn't tell me about your date with Kyle. What are you going to wear?"
Ashley froze mid-step, her patience wearing thin. The lingering ache from the video and the relentless poking from Michelle were too much. "I don't want to talk about it," she snapped.
Michelle frowned. "But I tell you all about my dates," she said, as if that settled the matter.
Ashley turned, her glare sharp enough to cut. The intensity startled Michelle, and she took a small step back, her confidence faltering. "Sorry," Michelle blurted, her voice small.
