Underfoot?
Su Ran only then sensed a fierce gust roaring from below. Realizing trouble coming, he quickly sidestepped two positions to the side. A rock about seventy centimeters in diameter grazed his black robe as it shot past, the sharp sound of the wind stinging his eyes.
The whole process was dangerously close. Even after the rock disappeared from sight, Su Ran hadn't recovered from the shock; his back felt chilly, as if his soul had almost been scared out of his body.
"Despicable!"
Su Ran's soul barely steadied itself before he scrambled upward several meters, putting some distance between himself and the BOSS's aggro range. Only then did he breathe easier. Thinking back to the perilous moment, Su Ran couldn't help shivering at the thought—if he'd been hit, it would've been an instant kill situation! Who'd have thought that even without pulling aggro, he could still be ambushed? Who could he even complain to?
