Manbao handed the horse to the attendant and climbed into Mingda's carriage.
Since the weather was beginning to get hot, Mingda's carriage was draped with light curtains all around. Changyu and she were sitting cross-legged in the carriage, drinking tea and eating snacks.
Seeing Manbao climb in, the two immediately pulled her in and said with a smile, "We were just saying we didn't know where to find you."
Manbao said, "I've been waiting for you outside the city gate since early morning."
She looked around and exclaimed, "Your carriage is really big."
The carriage was pulled by two horses, naturally much more spacious than Manbao's blue cloth carriage.
Manbao started to discuss with them, "Are you going directly to the Yongzhou Palace, or to my estate first?"
