The Ministry of Rites finally got the Crown Prince's ceremonial robes and hats ready just before nightfall. They were the Emperor's old ones. The embroiderers changed one of the dragon claws to that of a Jiao dragon and altered the robe according to the Crown Prince's size. That was considered sufficient.
Although it was somewhat lacking, it was at least better than not having robes, right?
